Suggestion:

Keep the site free, but have VIP status or similar, which would give access to extra features, like signatures, avatars, PM's, etc.
The VIP status could cost a tenner a year or so. The site would function perfectly for anyone who doesn't wanna fork out, but I'm sure quite a lot of people would be prepared to pay for the extras the VIP status brings.

I back this very good one, but without any status to be acheived toward money, even if I do understand Your noble meaning and intention, Erik.
I would prefer any leg_endary, prominent status to be gained with the quality of posting, correct use of home language included! so I well be fucked forever... :-)

I would also suggest to arrange this kind of ""Site's Welfare contest" during the summer break... It will become very edit the market after a couple of further addidtion next summer... just saying.

Hopefully it would also move mr. Cameron's sweatheart to put the axe to bed.

That seems incredibly cheap, £35 a year with unlimited bandwidth and webspace!

We are paid up until December with our current hosts but it may be worth switching to these if they are reliable.

I haven't found one decent hosting site providing real Unlimited Bandwidth. Stay clear, i'd say.

I'm extremely sceptic mate. No free rides in the western world and all that.

Mostly this server has been working quite nicely. I wouldn't want us to push our luck. I still see nightmares of that 'Internal server error' we used to get every now and then back in the day. I'm sure you remember. Couple of epic posts went straight to Internet heaven.
