If Torres goes to Chelsea maybe we should go back for Anelka?

It all depends on Guidetti for me. If he's going to be good enough we are fine. If not, I think we are a striker short.

Just make sure fergescum isn't anywhere near his airplane when he lands back in Manchester to sign for city.

i would have him aswell and he sits on the bench a lot this season. but , the rumour is sturridge is going the other way so that would leave them short

No, just watched the headlines and they're saying Liverpool adament he's going nowhere. Means little of course, but they're certainly not reporting its a done deal.

Extra 10 mil will do it.

Funny how he's picked up his play of late, surely Chelsea can't have tapped him up; can they?

Perish the thought. Or Torres sending out come and get me signals via his agent. More likely is that Chelsea (ie Abramovich) woke up one morning kind of bored and tabled a £40m (ish) bid for kicks and giggles which then prompted Torres to realise that he wasn't all that happy at the dippers after all and that really he should move to that nice Chelsea lot in London.

They then both skipped happily hand in hand into a golden sunset.

Lets see the dippers make a film out of this little tale of romance and deception entitled 'One Night in Nando's'

What I think happened was Torres wanted gone in the summer.

He was told when a suitable replacement was found he would be allowed to leave, Roy of course, signed fuck all.

Then Dalglish came in, signed a new striker and Torres thought "great I'm off".

Dalglish then told him to do one, no way he was honouring Roy's promise.

Chelsea get a sniff of this and put a bid in backed by a transfer request.

Dalglish digs his heels in and refuses to play ball cause he feels he is being railroaded into the transfer from both sides(he's not wrong either).

I think it would be only right for us to give Liverpool a ring to see how everything's going.

Quite possibly &/or it could also be that he's tried to motivate himself to play for Liverpool after agreeing to stay & can't. Then Chelsk have tapped him up.

I'm sure City have been interested for some time & it may well be the case that we were turned down by Liverpool/Torres in the summer (baring in mind we have no history n that) & then he's watched us building a team whilst Liverpool stagnate. Knowing all the while he's dropped a huge bollock. Now we've got Dzeko, Chelsea may be his only chance of escape, as it's unlikely Barca or Real will pay huge money for an injury prone bloke who relies on pace & is 27.5 years old in the summer, with the ffp rules coming in.

As you say, it may be that it's Dalglish who won't play ball on a 'gentleman's agreement' Torres got in the summer. If that's the case, this could drive a wedge between Liverpool's owners & Dalglish.

Imo, if Chelsea offer enough money, he'll go, whether Kenny likes it or not.

Didn't Torres, or was it Riena, say that he'd never move to us because of the money?

Why Che£$€a?

Reina I think.

Torres said he'd never even consider playing for another English club.

Ah right. So how could he go to Chelsea?

I wonder how all this shit is going to affect the Chelsea squad with all these bids going in, surely some of them will be worrying about their future now?

Thanks for teaching me to spell.......again ;-)
