That loss had absolutely nothing to do with team selection. Mancini got it spot on.

The only criticism I have towards Mancini is how long it took him to change shit when we were clearly buckling... and this happens A LOT.

We were outdone not by change, but a lack of it at a crucial time.

But we created enough chances to win the game comfortably; on another day our finishing would have been better and Everton would have found themselves with an Everest to climb to try and come back into the game. Bad finishing is not something a manager can predict.
