Y'know, if we get 5 points in the next 3 games - we'll have the same amount of points as last year!

Progress indeed.

Whatever sense mancio might have buried in that mass of screaming verbiage the fact is Vieira's ageing legs got far too much game time.
And my point regarding playing your strongest team is well made.
The players have to earn a start; and I don't buy this tiredness schtick.

Yes we have come a long way since the bad old days; yes, I'll back Mancini to the hilt against 'player power', but my own personal, non-redagendatabloidinfluenced view is that he erred with his selection

Didn't mancio say he wasn't hanging around to deal with any replies?

The only criticism I have towards Mancini is how long it took him to change shit when we were clearly buckling... and this happens A LOT.

We were outdone not by change, but a lack of it at a crucial time.

If we play like that on Tue for the first hour, we'll be fine.

Absolutely.
It was just one of those games.

Besides, we'll get that three points no worries. The most important thing is to be fresh and raring to go in the final.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

And yet strangely we lost. Hmmm

But we created enough chances to win the game comfortably; on another day our finishing would have been better and Everton would have found themselves with an Everest to climb to try and come back into the game. Bad finishing is not something a manager can predict.
