Definitely not got a good tempo to the game but so much of that is down to the bus Everton has parked which just closes space so quickly. It was always going to be like this and the team/manager needs to find the solution. With Silva being man marked they either need Nasri to step up or I reckon it will be down to the substitions with Tevez giving us the spark we need.

The solution surely is to mix up the play a little. The number of times the ball has gone wide to Clichy or Richards and then been played back inside - for more of the same - is nobody's business.

I think I will put a tenner on Cahill scoring the only goal. I never win bets so it's the best I can think of to ensure it doesnt happen.

Dzeko has been truly awful. Given the ball away every time he,s had it.

Have to in some way give Everton credit.Moyes has a game plan and the players are applying themselves very well.I'ts clear as day what they are up to we are being fouled constantly.
Hopefully we have what it takes to open them up, i think we do and the chances should come our way as they tire later in the game.

p neville is a disgrace and mcmaamamaman on ESPN is being 2x a cunt as normal. The intensity of his bitterness is unreal and it must be eating him up inside seeing City pass his dear red scouse.

But if we get an early goal in the 2nd, they should have to come out of their shell and more should follow

As this is going to be a recurring theme in games at home unless we get early goals.. City need to get better at changing the play patterns.. changes of tempo and changes in types of attack. The success of slow build and movement seems to have given an expectation that will eventually work with this side... i dont like that, i'd prefer them to be really mixing the play up. Short passes through, then longer wide balls to release runners, then someone like Nasri or Yaya running directly at the centre with a following player to pick up any blocks, then wide again to cross, then pass and move.. etc etc. Basically push the defence to the limit of not knowing where or how the attack will come. The other major factor is that we have to be quicker and in some ways not so worried that the ball is always in complete control.

Anyways unless they counter and score i still can't see the dippers keeping this up for another 45.
