wow. what a goal....he's gotta keep his head though. he's getting a bit feisty. NDJ and Kompany trying to calm him down.

Yaya looks to, thus far, have forgotten his attacking ways and attacking mindset of last season.

Richards' movement is very good down the flank thus far.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Was a bit worried about Nige til I saw the replay - thought it might have been his leg but he took a knee to the chest.

Keep it up lads. If we play like this we don't a Silva type player on the pitch. Just keep it tight at the back and put pressure on them until they buckle.

Got to say I'm enjoying this good showing from Mario again , a poor start comparitivly by city turned around by hard graft , and Dean Sturrridge giving an unbiased commentary .

Ticking over, hardly motoring along. Almost like scum's idea today, have the turbo boost on the bench ready to deploy if needed.

Ireland looks half arsed, just doesn't seem to be on the same level as the rest of his team.

Entertaining from Mario. Barry's passing's been poor. Aside from Lescott's horror moment, decent half.

Couldn't have done worse with that chance really and the stick the Villa fans gave him was probably deserved at the time.I never think it's wise though to have a laugh at a striker as it so often rebounds on you and it was as if it spurred him on.

A very flat half all round. Villa don't even look like they want to score, apart from Gabby. 2 more without reply in the second please.
