Beeks...by all means vent your displeasure at fans upset at us going out of a semi final and slagging off all and sundry (natural reaction for passionate fans) we should have won but refrain from telling them to fucking die ..lets reserve that for MUNCHENS.

Thanks.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

What I find a bit strange is that people can spot what Bobby has done wrong, which of our players are not or have not been playing as well as they are capable of. Insted they have to blame ref for bad decisions as the reason for us having a bad run.For me it's down to the players.

We had the same shite last year about this time.....our best season for more than 3 decades

We have no vinny, no yaya, no balotelli, yet we still drew away at anfield only because of a bad ref decision

Fantastic season in my books so far

I'm sure that you hold yourself to the same unrealistic standards that you hold City to. If so, you must be an all conquering Berlusconi type figure, ruler of almost all private enterprise and government. Never made a mistake in your life and always overcome every challenge ahead of people's expectations. Otherwise quit your moaning and stop thinking we deserve/expect to achieve 110% of what is possible.

Fucking forum fascist. You only want to read posts that you agree with, do you? Then ManCityFans isn't for you. I'll hopefully post quite a few more things you disagree with, and if you don't like it you know what you can do. As for being miserable; well, nowhere near as miserable as some cretin who personally attacks someone for having an opposing view. What a fucking idiot you are.

Although I may not have written it in the same words as bigblue, from reading many of your posts guv, it does seem that you are struggling to enjoy the fantastic season we are having. Of course there have been some disappointments along the way, but we've had a handful of disappointing games this season, whereas normally we're left disappointed every week.

Everyone's entitled to a different opinion, we wouldn't have a forum otherwise, but pretty much every time I see a post by you I expect it to be negative or expressing some form of disappointment. That's why it appears you don't seem to be enjoying the season.

Yours is a post I have no problem with aaron. You are questioning how much I enjoy City and the season, etc, rather than going off into an ad hominem attack, and that's fair enough. For the record, I'm very much enjoying the season - it's been utterly fantastic, and something I couldn't have dreamed of just a few years ago. On the other hand, we are having a dip in form at the moment, largely due to key absentees through suspension and the ACN, plus some truly abysmal refereeing decisions. I'm not just going to pretend everything is fine after we've exited our third cup competition of the season. Having some clearly second rate players in the team is also a cause for concern when they are handing opponents goals every time they play. Again, it needs to be said. After forty years of being a City fan, my ingrained cynicism probably shows itself in my comments, though it would be transparently wrong to suggest I'm somehow alone in this, or even the most vocal.

I must say, that for the first time ever, I feel very calm about things.

I was upset at the manner of the result on Weds, but felt that once Kolarov had been booked for being fouled there was not a snowflake in hell's chance of getting the rub of the green. However that is not to say I felt we played as we could and should.

In fact, I was pleased bobby set out the formation he did, because I think with our squad as it is it would have been a mistake to play Savic in a back 4, and giving him the support of Micah and Joleen could and should have given him a chance to escape the jitters and take some confidence from the game. Unfortunately it hasnt quite worked out like that, but was worth a try and didnt really cost us.

I also believe that ultimately, Kolarov and Clichy are attacking wing backs, not defenders and there are signs that Mancini may choose to play this way in the future with Micah at CB, and a marauding right wing back eventually. I think the balance of that team works well, and if Kolarov is going to play, I would much rather see him a little further up the pitch where he can't cause us too much trouble defensively.

We can blame the referee, the ball, Savic etc, but I am disappointed that over the space of two games vs Liverpool, Dalglish has done a number on Mancini after the 3.0 defeat, and neither Mancini nor the players seemed to have the answer - because I would have put my house on them beating Liverpool over 2 games. However too many players looked poor, slow, apathetic, which was disappointing with a trip to Wembley at stake.

I hope it's just tiredness, we have a week now to recover so we will see.

Agree, plus teams who didn't know what hit them when we played them first time this season are now a bit wiser, so is gonna get harder. After beating them 3-0 L'pool had 2 very quick opportunities to learn from that defeat. The firts leg was immediately after the energy sapping defeat against the rags Ballo and Dzeko were injured, Aguero had run himself into the ground 3 days earlier and Vinnie, Yaya and Silva were absent.

They beat us 1-0 from a pen and Johnson should have been off. 2nd leg we twice led and were close to going through on a night where we didn't play particulalry well, but were still missing Yaya, ballo and Vinnie and they got another pen - this was should never have stood.

Agree with the op and patrick, although beeks was a little too strong in his protestations towards the end of his post I think he was just trying to get everyone to listen.
