With 3 at the back, at last least Zabba & Kompany can bail Savic out when (not if) he cocks up. Considering Kolo has played all per season, I'm shocked he hasn't gone with him instead. The mind boggles. We need another centre back, pronto.

He never had this mentality before. I doubt that, he goes into every single competitive game looking to win.

Itv are starting to annoy me 17mins in, if they ain't suggested we have a power struggle between manager n board 10times they not sed it 1s.

I think they r bored with the fact we ain't spent millions too, so their script of ripping us apart for it has been scrapped last min.

Where the hell is Suarez?

Suarez played a full 90 minute game for the EDS against TNS.

I am really surprised Vinnie is playing given he seems to have had 2 niggling injuries through pre season. No doubt he would have wanted to play but with Kolo around I thought we would have played safer. No Boyata involvement at all is also a surprise and maybe tells us what Manicini thinks of him unless he has picked up a late injury.

Doug, the kid needs big games, even as a substitute at this level, not with TNS.

very good point. DH. whether VK has been declared fit or not, I would have give him a further recovery time.

I must say (as per the bollox) Tevez is looking back to his beastly best physically - lets hope that's a sign he's sorted his head out.

Savic looking useful so far, if a little rash (early days though).

I just heard the Toure song from the crowd.

Savic gets booked for doing once what Luiz has done twice. Hmmm.
