One decent shot all night from Cleverley and even that was off target. What a waste of a shirt.

My love of the England team has dwindled from full on to moderate to couldn't care less. The likes of not so cleverley sum it up for me, lack of quality followed by half hearted fans. Seriously can't see me ever going to watch them live again and the chance of us developing a squad that could challenge for a World or European cup seems further away than ever. Maybe if we don't qualify for a couple of tournaments the message will finally sink in, sort it out, even if it takes 20 years.

Dzeko just scored in the 90th minute to make it 4-1 at home to Latvia.

Until we come up eith a silva-esque player who can hurt teams around the box we will always be mediocre. Also grafters like milner and cleverly and lampard aint gonna win you games.
England are an average team that will get to tournaments but get found out when they are there.

Deary me. Anywhere but there.

He's embarressingly poor, the misses aside he still keeps giving possession away. What do the media see?

4 goals in two games for him then. (albeit meaningless goals all of them).
hope he can continue this form at Stoke!

Baconface will no doubt spout some drunken bollocks about him being a fantastic player thats part of the new generation of English players, the next scholes, neville, beckham era, everyone will lap it up and he'll be first name on the sheet next game.

Two Bosnian players on four in two (him and Misimovic). Not a bad start. Shame goals against Liechtenstein won't count for second place seeding.

Again, Platini & co haven't announced how the second-place Play-Off draw will be determined, and will do so 'later in the competition'.
