They both got a last chance warning. Baconface took Stupidly off but Wenger left Wiltshere on to get sent off. I blame Wenger as much as Wiltshere.

Wilshere was left under EXTREME pressure, TWICE: by a silly, hopeless, set up of midfield and then by being left on the pitch, already booked and surrounded by playmakers only.

well deserved by the best player on the pitch!
I am sad for Santi Cazorla, for being doomed to preach in the wilderness. very intelligent and gifted player, imo.

I didn't disagree with too much to be honest today. Definite penalty, definite two yellows.
What about Cazorla? Lovely player wasted at Arsenal.

Sort of a non event game that wasn't it. Arsenal didn't really turn up,lacked energy and quality and just gave a goal away immediately. United only had to be average and strolled it.Glad they let a goal in at the end though.A really top side on good form would have scored 5 today with ease.

it says it all when the internet and where else are discussing the referees performance and not the two teams that played.

Earlier in the season, after we played Arsenal, people were talking on here about us dropping points v our title rivals.

I said then that what Arsenal had actually acheived was creating a two point gap between us & our actual title rivals Utd, as they would fucking bottle it completely & hand them a victory, as they always do.

Arsenal are the absolute worst kind of Premier League team, who shit out v Utd & raise their game v others. They are an ally of Utd in the title race.

Tbf to them though, they did give it 15 mins out of the 90 & had the ref sent off Cleverley, just perhaps they may have got something.

Apparently, the ref let off Wilshire when he could possibly have been harsh & booked him, so that meant he had to let off Cleverley for a lunge from behind which is a yellow card on any pitch v any team anywhere.

So presumably, Balotelli would have been let off too & nobody in the press would call him a liability after the game ?

Arsenal never stood a chance. Their defense and keeper are garbage.
Glad that Cazorlas handball penalty was missed by Rooney,

It's not just that though, they were actually out passed by Utd for large spells in the 1st half. That's down to their arses going.

When people go on about Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Cazorla etc; one of the main reasons we won the league is because people like Silva & Nasri actually work pretty hard when we lose the ball.

Most of those are spectators.

Slightly off topic but I've been really impressed with Oscar's willingness to track back and help their defence so far. Complete opposite of what I expected from him.

Swansea doing just fine with Chelsea at the moment btw though they aren't really threatening

And elsewhere, it was nice to see Charlie Adam getting booked for diving

That was down to the pathetic midfield set-up. Having said that, think Diaby is their only decent midfielder who can help out defensively and he is always injured. Wenger should have signed somebody to fill that role, so that is down to him. As are the signings of Giroud, Podolski, Santos, Mertesacker, Vermaelen and all the other dross
