Seems a very lucky escape from our point of view as was Ronaldinho.

i was living in shanghai, and it was around mid/end of 2006 ... I think kaka was dominating everyone at the time. One of the guys on the team I was playing with had family connections to Inter, and told me that kaka was pretty much on the verge of breaking down physically. He was basically being pushed to the limits by Milan who would heal him up with medicine and injections and what not, and when he wasn't playing he was pretty much constantly on crutches.

I never really gave it any credence and chalked it up to rivalry fueled rumors. I think not long after that he started getting some niggling injuries and then that progressed into more serious ones, then his time at madrid started which was when his body pretty much said 'enough'. He's on the mend now, but pretty much certain he'll ever reach near those heights again, too many injuries, too many times rushed back onto the pitch ... a bit like Torres.

Deco had a great career just did not really light up the premier league as people would have expected.

Anyone remeber Tony Daley, broke into the england team in the early 90's when playing for Villa.Whatever happened to him?

Fucked up his knee's so bad that he could only run in straight lines, still did that faster than anyone else so he was ok, just had to stop and change direction all the time! lol
