Great post!
About sums it up for me. I had high hopes and am sad (for City and MJ) that they have not been realised. Pissing it up the wall has comedy value if you then come around and rise from the wreckage....otherwise is the sign (usually) of some deeper issues which don't put up the boundaries of "I shouldn't do this". Anyone who doesn't have that self-preventative measure embedded in them lacks it invariably due to something unpleasant in their life.
Until you've walked in their shoes shut the fuck up
What a load of shit.
Would you be so understanding if he hit someone you knew while pissed up at the wheel? I don't need to live his life to know he's a cunt for doing it.

Do you ever take a day off his dick?
Exact words I took offense to was "until you've walked a mile in his shoes shut the fuck up"
So we can't discuss any footballer, incident, manager or referee without being told now? I've taken exception to him being a well paid, ungrateful, scrote. I won't shut the fuck up when the topic gets raised.

Which moron on this site would support drunk driving?
You just took his feedback to the extreme of ridiculoisity.
I'm nowhere near his dick. He lives in Russia and drives a gay 4x4.

You know you cyber rim him on the daily.
I also never said he supports drunk driving, but telling us to lay off him is stupid. He deserves what shit he cops.

MICHAEL Johnson has revealed the tortured battle with inner demons which has led to him being released by City.
The Blues star, once tipped to be an England captain and hailed as ‘the new Colin Bell’, told MEN Sport he has been undergoing treatment for several years at the Priory Clinic, which specialises in dealing with mental illness, alcoholism and gambling addiction.
And in a heartfelt plea, 24-year-old Johnson, whose football career appears to be over, has asked that he be ‘left alone to live the rest of my life’.
It has emerged that City had decided in December to quietly pay up Johnson’s contract, which was due to expire at the end of June, and release him.
Asked whether he had a message to Blues fans, who are disappointed that he did not fulfil his potential, Urmston-born Johnson, a product of the City academy, said: “I am more disappointed than anyone but that’s the way it goes.”
He initially declined to say any more but rang us back, revealing: “I have been attending the Priory Clinic for a number of years now with regard to my mental health and would be grateful if I could now be left alone to live the rest of my life.”
The Priory has treated several high-profile stars, including Stan Collymore, Paul Gascoigne and Ricky Hatton.
City legend Colin Bell said last night: “It’s a terrible shame. It’s hard to accept when your career ends early and for his to end at his age will be really
difficult to take.”

The lad has problems, and having your picture taken by "fans" and then seeing it go viral and you being called a fat alcoholic bastard, probably isn't helping.
I just hope he can get over his issues, get a proper job or education and have a good, regular life.

Is it his fault he got offered 50k a week and got injured? He did get his head down and got fit again, only to break down again.
I think it is fair to assume their is something a little more to his downfall. He might be on 50k a week but would I want to be him? No chance.
I'd have a crack at it in a heartbeat.
