Gerrard, although it'd make a very light weight midfield. I think Silva was really competing against Hazard and I think Hazard has had the better season

Aguero should be in for sturridge IMO, silva has been out of this world at times this season, can't fit him in though, hazard has been equally as impressive (although I'd still have silva) and the media would never allow Gerrard not to be in the team

Good shouts. And both Chelsea CBs have *looked* better than Vinny, but if Vinny and co had that much help defending, a la Mancini at times, then they'd look even better than either of those two.

Silva missing is as surprising as Vinnie's inclusion.

Coleman has been outstanding and deserves to be there ahead of Zabaleta who's dropped since last season a bit.
Kompany shouldn't be there but Silva should.
Had Aguero been fit for more than half the season he would have been there too.

Aguero was better than Sturridge before he got his injury. But over the course of the season, you couldn't pick Aguero due to the amount he's missed. If we could keep him fit, I think he'd walk POTY, but that's been the big problem so far
