You're right there mate...

But would you say this is the reason that the media constantly report that every player wants to leave, no player wants to come and every player we managed to bribe into joining us is available at half price?

I would understand no coverage for us or less than them, but we actually get equal coverage for the most part. It's just we're painted as evil, while they are painted as good.

Ultimately though, isn't it better to be hated and brilliant, than pitied and shite? :)

It's better to be hated and brilliant.

Ultimately though, it's better to be loved for being being brilliant.

To be honest, I'm well aware that loads hate us because of the money and what they perceive to be unfair competition. I love it when we win in spite of this.

What I hate most at the minute is having to listen to it while I'm watching a game.

And stop disagreeing with me - you know how angry I get :)

It doesn't even have to be love, just acknowledgement and maybe appreciation.

But them painting us as evil and the scum as good it makes perfect sense. Don't think of this as a sport but look at it as just entertainment a movie even. You have a team with the largest fan base in the country across the road you have the upstarts you are getting loads of money pumped in. There is few ways you could go with the story line you can give them both equal coverage both positive and negative, you can focus your coverage on the scum and ignore us or you can paint the scum as good guys and us as the bad guys. The second one isn't an option because of our success over the last few seasons they can't ignore that. So that leaves the first and third as the options. In a perfect world it would be option one every time. But with that you are going to piss off the majority of your customers. So what better way than to play up to their views. Paint them as the good guys everyone comes through their academy or anyone they buy has always dreamed of playing for them. Where as no one wants to play for us they are all mercenaries only in it for a paycheck and will leave as soon as someone bigger and better comes along.

Reading the back of the men yesterday on the bus. Jesus Christ the bias is so obvious or the columnist is a moron. He said the rags have taken a point from us, Liverpool and Chelsea this season, so they ain't doing to bad against the better teams.

Maybe the point they took was a well thought out point, that they are no longer better than any of the 3 aforementioned teams! Good point, dont you think?

What was the derby score again?

I am drawing a blank at how "well they did" against us.

Harsh.

They kept it down to less than ten & even scored a goal themselves.

What more could anyone expect ffs ?

Presume its 1 point out of 9. To be fair its 1 more than they deserved. The bias is obvious AND the reporter probably is a moron. Might even be a child of Gollums on work experience

Well the good news is that Aguero's value has rocketed up to £45m since last week.

The bad news is we'll only have 4m of it left after we swap him for....

City also being linked with Messi.

Retaliation for the Aguero bollocks imo.

In retaliation to the Aguero bollocks we should make a counter offer for Tyranny for the same value!

The bad news is aguero is still dying to get out of this hell he has been forced to live in.

The good news is his value has gone up by 5m since last week.

He is now a whopping 50m

So its Barca this week. Give it 7 days and it will be Real next week, for a whopping £40m.

Given his age, ability, contract status and demand the Aguero linking stories if they are serious, need to be in the Bale bracket of £75m plus.

And that's where we are now. Sergio's name is going up in lights with his newfound status in the PL, aided by CL and International games. He is worth far more than we paid for him now and to mention him in the group of World Class players would not be far fetched.

I think a figure of £70m is fair. If they also take Garcia
