Hyperbole, much? It seems like it's become fashionable to badmouth Nastasic, a 20 year old, into oblivion. Lescott is not much of a footballer tbh & certainly not the Superman some are making him out to be. Decent defender though. Demichelis' positioning, on the whole, is not worse. Another case of players becoming better the less they play.

Nastasic is soft, it's a fact and you won't see lescott losing the ball and getting left on his arse on the half way line like that twat demichelis.

Lescott was 1/4 of the defence that won us the league and he was just as important as kompany. Demichelis or nastasic could not do what lescott did against Liverpool and Suarez. Not in a million and one attempts. They might be able to pass but they can't defend half as well as lescott.

We look like giving up a couple counter attacking/comedic defending/high-line bollocks gos today. Out swinging corners will only help them do that. Why put yourself under that pressure to have the ball behind most of your team? Don't get it.
