Pants for me. Deffo earned it and after last seasons FA Cup debacle, I think it'll do the club a lot of good on the PR front.

Why does Hart collect the ball, usually unopposed, run around in his area for over six seconds (every time, as if desperate to be sanctioned for it), drop the ball once, pick it up again, and then kick it straight to the opposition? He's done this under three different City managers at least now (probably at Shrewsbury and Birmingham, too), and it's always annoying. Just throw the fucking ball to someone. This alone would have me drop him for the final.

Maybe Joe knows better than some on here what he is capable of on the distribution front. All this bollox about him not releasing it quick enough or starting attacks is moronic.Maybe Joe knows that he is not capable of kicking the ball far and getting it to our own.

Maybe I've realized I'm not capable of saying anything worthwhile and am just continuing as I am.

Though he didn't have much to do, what he did have wasn't done very well. Or at all even. Not bothered about the goal, it was a great strike. But far too many balls came into the box that he should've been claiming or attacking. I thought him being rooted to his line got us into a few uncomfortable positions today.

He's usually on the ball with dominating his area (I find), maybe the occasion got to him today.

Agreed.

He's been a loyal 2nd goalkeeper throughout his time with us and fully deserved to start today based on his performances this season AND how he was treated in the FA Cup Final.

You could see how much it meant to him when the goals went in and at the final whistle.

As mentioned above, great to see Hart talking to him several times after the game, clearly congratulating him on his efforts.

And we don't have team spirit...

Absolutely spot on.I assume Hoe knew he wasn't going to be playing a while ago and certainly yesterday but you would not have known it at training yesterday. His attitude was spot on working hard with the coach and Pants and having a laugh as well. Great to see him support his teammate like that at the end.

Kudos to Hart today. You find out a lot about yourself when times are tough. Not playing in a Wembley final has to hurt, but he just got on with it and he showed the epitomy of teamwork all the way through. Fair play

Lemons contributed to Nasri's all important goal that put us ahead, with a quick and accurate longball upfield to Aguero. Justified his selection with that one thing.

Thought this at the time. With Hart in net we wouldn't have scored that goal. He may have see the pass although he probably wouldn't have played it or launched it out of play!!!

It's a cup game, he is our cup keeper. Still not sure why were having this discussion.

I loved that Panti came up to celebrate for the 3rd goal. He looked thrilled at the end as well.

I hope days like yesterday make him stick around.
