I haven't actually seen Rooney's goal. Seen the 2nd, when that daft cunt passed the ball to him, but only seen the ball in the net for the first, not the actual strike.

Quite pleased with myself.

Did see Becakham's face though, which is still annoying me.

Not sure what to think about tonight.

I know that if we play our football and the officials don't shaft us we will win.

But, this is a derby, so a red card in the first 10 minutes wouldn't surprise me.

Hoping for.......

------------------Hart------------------
Zaba---Kompany---Lescott---Kolarov
-----------Ferna------Garcia----------
----Silva-------Yaya-------Nasri------
------------------Beast-----------------

I would like to see Milner alongside Ferna, but it won't happen.

Can't wait for it now, predicting a tight win....2-1 City!
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012

I also have managed to avoid it without any extreme measures! However i did accidentally leave talkshite on yesterday morning and nearly crashed in my panic to flick to Absolute radio when the fat sweaty-sock piped up - i suspect they had been going in about it for a few hours as it was only on for a minute and part if that was adverts!

It's now officially the best goal ever scored, narrowly beating his overhead kick. Don't worry, there will be plenty of chances to watch it again and it'll probably be described several times during tonight's commentary.

Now City in fifth gear ! These four games if we win 10 or 12 points we have one hand on trophy. We need this win for morale, for hunger ,for assurance .Please don't start a sleep like u know to and we will win this.I just look at all schedule of first 4 teams ,we all have place where we can drop points( Liverpool have like the softest one Spurs, Chelsea and us all home) but only us at this point have all in our hands.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Fernandinho and Garcia in front of the back 4 to stop Mata and Shrek exploiting space there. Silva and Nasri to dribble and quick pass around their back 4 and Yaya to push up, bully Fellaini and run at their back 4.

As long as we don't allow ourselves to get outnumbered in midfield, we'll murder them. The injuries up front could actually help us, as it means we won't go 4-4-2. Watch him plat Negredo and Dzeko now...

i know we SHOULD win this but i am concerned about how reliant we have been for goals outside of our strikers. i know our style of play creates chances for several players on the pitch when we are on the attack, but what is going on with negredo??

we could really use a good game from he or dzeko...although i get the feeling that jovetic could be the secret weapon.

are we going back to two strikers today if dzeko is no longer ill?

I certainly am as always.

I'm not too bad and rather than the usual 'This is the Derby' I'm more of the feeling that it's 'This is for the title', if you know what I mean.

What I'm getting sick of is seeing the constant re-runs of the Rags on Sky. Got back from work yesterday to see them on a loop, showing the Wiggy goal over and over again. In the space of 20 mins they'd shown the same report from the weekends game twice and also managed to get the CL goals in as well.

This maybe how they're building the game up but you'd think they'd then show our game to cover both sides. From what I seen (before turning the fucker off) you'd think there was no other games this weekend.

We really need 10 points from the next four games and we can call the title I think. This is the second easiest fixture in that bunch.

Now we're ticking closer any amount of logic i might have is starting to wane away, i'm getting the pre-derby jitters - and it isn't about the points its all to do with the scum fuckers who will dig out of thier trenches they've been hiding in when they convince themselves they may have played a part in us not winning the title.

If i actually start to think that this will also help play into the scousers hands too I may combust - oh balls.

I hate derby's with late kick offs!!

Me too. Can see an abject referee. Red card to Kompany 1st half. We still batter them but somehow de gayer saves everything and Mata gets a fluke with 5 to go to nick it 1-0

Always get nervous against them at the swamp. Recent form however tells me we should win handsomely but having supported City for 37 years...
