Perfect example of how things work. Sterling loses the ball when surrounded by 5 players and the England crowd give him shit. The ball breaks to Shrek, who, under no pressure, gives the ball away to Iceland, yet fuck all from the crowd.

I see, that's how it works. I work it that I'm from Manchester, therefore support the Gods own. Moving up, I'm from England, so support Gods own. Moving on, I support GB, so support Gods own. The 2nd two may have pushed it a bit with Gods own but you get the drift.

Personally I wouldn't be in a thread giving it large, taking the piss out of your City supporting mates if I didn't give a shit. I'd be doing something more purposeful mate, like sorting Europe out.

Sterling, whilst not setting the world alight, was the best attacking player so far.

Kane, Sturridge, Rooney and Alli have been abysmal.

Would be nice if Rooney could pass to a teammate. He currently looks like Steven Gerrard towards the end of his career - lots of long passes across the pitch which don't actually do anything.

Agree Mase, although Rooney in this second half has been terrible.
