You need to get a life then you bean counter. I don't believe there is a single city fan who is hoping for a draw let alone a no score draw. Hoping for and expecting are not the same thing you imbecile. Realist? Haha you're a pessimist, and definitely not a city fan. Why don't you go and troll a rag forum instead?

Spot on. Can't believe he thinks putting hoping for/expecting together and thinks that will wash.

This board is full of city fans/non city fans, but he's still alone on that side of the fence too.
Tracking back is overrated.

Will pep have the balls to start maffeo? IMO he should have played vs saints and was shocked he wasn't even on the bench at the weekend

352 won't work vs. barca, so no other option? I don't want to see fern2 at RB...

Maffeo against Neymar? That could ruin his career.

I really dislike playing them. I usually tell myself to relax, just watch a football game and if we will lose, then so be it.

But after 5 minutes in, with all the cheating, diving and the theatrical performance, it hard not to feel sick. Same will happen tonight. At some point, Guardiola will beat them. Why not tonight?

Funny isn't it. I really dislike playing them toon. Combined with their fantastic football is the cheating and infuriating theatrics.

I get the prematch feelings of intrepidation that I used to get before a derby.

We need to play 4 at the back against these diving cheating crying babies. The thoughts of Fernando there is a bit worrying, Neymar would skin him alive. This game is too big for Maffeo.

I think the only way to really beat them is playing like Atletico. Simeone knows how to frustrate the fuckers and give them a really reason to complain when they are down. I don't think, at the moment, you can go all guns out against them like we did in the first leg. Actually, I don't think anyone can do that against them, maybe only if we resurrect AC Milan 89.

I'm not being funny but he did a pretty good job against the best footballer in the world "Lionel Rashford" so surely Neymar will be no problem ;)

so having lost every competitive match to Barca in the past and having a player sent off in every match (or is it all minus 1?) means that somehow, with a backup keeper who is almost as bad as Joe with his feet and no fit experienced RB, we're going to suddenly turn things around and beat them? I'm am hoping for a 0-0 draw because i dont expect to turn around the run of form vs them. in a perfect world, yes, id want a City win, but im looking at everything in front of me. even when they didnt have Pique, Alba, and a RB last match we still didnt score against them.

We were every bit as good as them until the sending off.

Edit: arguably better.

I can't for the life of me remember but were Barcelona as cynical with all the play acting and theatricals, when Pep was managing them, as they are now ??
