Coming to the conclusion the players may counteract the ruling by claiming restraint of trade as clubs might be put off from signing players because of financial regulations. We're obviously far more skilled and accomplished at ruining football than PSG so, by comparison, our French counterparts are like choir boys and deserve an easier media ride NB.

Still, if this constitutes a successful FFP defence, then UEFA's flagship vessel is dead in the water.

Relates to what I was referring to about Alexis possibly coming to us next summer.

If you leave on a free you get a huge bonus since the buying club doesn't have to spend on any transfer fee.
