CITY TRIO WITHDRAW FROM INTERNATIONAL DUTY
Mon 18 Mar 2019, 10:41 AM
STAYING HOME: Delph, Otamendi and Stones

John Stones and Fabian Delph have been forced to withdraw from the England squad, while Nicolas Otamendi has pulled out of the Argentina squad.
Stones missed the Blues' 3-2 win at Swansea at the weekend and last played in the 1-0 win at Bournemouth where he came off with a muscle issue.

Delph played against the Swans but came off in the second-half of the game at The Liberty Stadium.
TWO LIONS: Returning to the den for treatment... TWO LIONS: Returning to the den for treatment...
Otamendi has also been pulled out of the Argentina squad with what is believed to be a minor knock.

Hudson-Odoi called up to England senior squad and he’s hardly played for Chelsea. I would have thought that our young Phil is well ahead of him and can certainly do a job for England !!

He did the same last time but went out for a few weeks later.

Wanted to watch this game for Leroy and Gungo as both have had a real bad press in Germany, but they both proved themselves, in a way, the rest of the kraut munching twats need to step up ;-)

Impact injuries are usually always the worst, especially when the impact is straight to the ankle region.

Sorry, different definition of impact injury. Had quite a few myself, lucky I'm still in tact.

Leroy was very lucky with that one. That was clearly deliberate and very nasty. The punishment handed out for serious dangerous deliberate assault type tackles is far too lenient.
Its just madness that any player can go out and recklessly assault another player under the guise of 'tackling', get a red card and a ban of a few games, while the victim is out for 6 or more months.

Scotland 0-3 vs Kazakhstan.
To be fair, if they are playing in that synthetic field in Astana the result has some normality into it. Romania and Poland couldn't win there on that atrocity.
