I was under the mistaken impression Mamadou Sakho didn’t actually touch him, but according to some of the correspondence I’ve been receiving, he actually grappled Salah to the ground, kicked the Egyptian repeatedly in the head and then wiped his feet on his chest.
Anyway, all is well in the world of Liverpool fans again, as Salah has recovered sufficiently from this brutal assault to equalise for the Premier League leaders very early in the second half.
