City should use the scousers bus. Let them have ours for the day. Enjoy the Plush interior. Give them the feeling of being Champions for a day.

Just can’t see that team beating the dippers and the ref and VAR, hope so as I’ve managed to get a ticket

Good luck, enjoy the game!

This is one of those games, where i don't care how we play. If it's boring as hell ,i don't care . One goal more than scouse2 , that's all i want . Three points.

Can't see us getting anything from this game and to be honest if we do, Liverpool should be ashamed. If we were at home, at full strength and playing them without Allison, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Mane and Firminho, I would be expecting to hammer them.

If we lose tomorrow, we shouldn't read to much into it. If we win then Liverpool are frauds and should be called out for it

Was there any mention of Dave and Rodri on their fitness for this game?

Vincent Kompany:

"I had a good friend who was at Liverpool for their game against Wolves that day [final day of last season]. After we had won and we’d celebrated, I rang him to ask how their crowd had reacted when Brighton took the lead against us.

He told me it was like a party inside the ground and some of their supporters were crying in the stands saying, ‘We’re going to do it’. When I heard that, I realized it was worth us having a scare just to spoil their day that little bit."

I heard Rodri did a full training session Friday and, “will be given every chance to make the squad”

We dont really know but on the face of it it appears a little too early for him. We cant have any 80% fit players there it's a game we cant really loose.

Cheers, be interesting to see who will be in the bench, or even in the team.

Vincent Kompany will be in the Sky Sports studio this Sunday for Liverpool vs Manchester City!

Kompany will be joining Jose Mourinho, Roy Keane, Graeme Souness, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

Vincent Kompany on the 2018 bus attack: “I was on the coach as it was bricked. That moment things changed. The rivalry increased and they became our No 1 team to beat. The mood among City fans towards these games against Liverpool had changed."

“To give them some credit, they had also become the hardest team to win against. But I could see it becoming a deep rivalry. But it changed the way we saw games against them from that moment. It became more important to us to win our games against Liverpool."

“Other things contributed — penalties not given, offsides that should or shouldn’t have been given. There was the goal ruled out in the second leg, when Leroy Sane’s tap-in should have been allowed.nSome good rivalries are built on those controversies.”

VincentKompany on the final day of the 19/20 season: “I had a good friend who was at Liverpool for their game against Wolves that day. After we had won and we’d celebrated, I rang him to ask how their crowd had reacted when Brighton took the lead against us...”

“He told me it was like a party inside the ground and some of their supporters were crying in the stands saying, ‘We’re going to do it’. When I heard that, I realised it was worth us having a scare just to spoil their day that little bit.”

Looking at the options I think he is the best of what we've got in both defence and attack. In this game I would like somebody to keep TAA busy and I think, even with lack of gametime, he's the one to do it.

Thats a legitimate point. But the flipside is Mendy defending Salah and Mendy's penchant for giving the ball away could be a big issue for us
