Someone else mentioned PSG. He had a few decent games. He didn’t go to shit after one game.

You genuinely don’t think Mangala had good matches against Chelsea and PSG??

Mangala had a great 1st game against Chelsea.
A week later he was shocking at Hull. Loads of bad games followed, PSG- when he did play well was months later.
He was a bit like Zouma at Chelsea for me, will win most aerial battles but awful with the ball at his feet.
Ake is a class act, totally comfortable in possession, doesn't go flying in- good in the air. You only have to look at the Bournemouth message boards when we signed him to see what they think of him.

I’m glad you agree with me that Mangala had a few good games for us.

He had a prime Costa in his back pocket. Had Zlatan in his pocket. He had some really good games. Overall he was absolute dogshit.

Ake has looked very solid and reliable. I won’t get carried away after a few games though.

Mangs was a bottle ake looks calm and proven in the league but we will see.

Manger did have the physicality for it but his confidence was shot after hull
