Just a matter of time. All’s you’ve got to do is hit the ball where there maybe an arm and, eh presto, Dippers get a penalty when needed.

Quite. The fact is that best chance to get a goal from a free kick in that position is to blast it arm height at the wall. Hit an arm and you've won the jackpot, and make no mistake that's what the taker (whichever cunt it was) was trying to do.

But, here’s the ‘ish. Those decisions we seen today are only seemingly reserved for certain teams.

That is a fact, we all knew they would get a pen or some help from the officials strange how the pen was not allowed for Fulham but allowed for dippers they get every marginal decision when it is needed

So , watching the game, unnecessary free kick by Fulham, Free kick gets taken, i see the players in the wall jump and it gets blocked and the bloody stream freezes. The next thing i see is a replay of Salad luckily tucking it into the net ! so

1. was it really a penalty ?

2. did it go to VAR ?

3. if 2 is yes . How long did it take for the penalty to be confirmed ?

I didn't see any arms going in the air so i can only guess that it was daylight robbery .

Just seen MOTD for the first time in a long while and realised why I don’t bother anymore. Jeans says, because he doesn’t like the game re-ref’ing, that he got it right, not even mentioning the actual foul.

That’s what we get from the likes of the Beeb nowadays. I would suggest that the majority don’t like VAR but as it’s in place then it’s has to do get the decision right, not just work for certain teams.

I thought it would be overturned as it was agreed earlier in the season that the handball rules were fucking abominable. When it was given I realised that what had been agreed had been overruled for the day and now we are back to any impact is now a foul.

I’m sure it will change later in the season and the commentators will remind us that those penalty shouts are no longer given.
