Very sad news. I enjoyed his posts and agreed with him on many occasions. Was sad when he disappeared. Rest In Peace Ted/ Tony.

WHAT?!?!

Wow, this is terrible, terrible news! :(

Truly gutted.

Ted was one of the first posters on here that I think I really had interactions with in threads here as a newcomer / outsider as I was feeling my way around who made me feel more like a genuine Blue outside of my mate who is a life long City fan and one of the major reasons I am a fan today.

While I know he left here in 2015 rather controversially, and some here I gather had some tension with him hence why he left, at that time I was quite sad about it.

His posts were highly enjoyable, and thought provoking reads, where I truly appreciated his willingness to go in depth with his analysis and engage in dialogue.

Plain Speaking was kind of enough to let me know that he'd moved to BM as Neville Neville and that actually led me to seek his posts out.

Whilst this is my first and true home for interacting with our fans (trust me, I appreciate it immensely) his move led me to start reading and posting on BM as I had not before.

That's how much I respected the man.

A 100% true Blue I will never forget for his intelligent posts, but maybe more so for how he helped me feel welcomed as part of Blues fan online community.

I hope his loved ones are able to hear how much he is valued and will be missed.

Horrible news, 59 is no age at all.
I never ever had him down as a longed haired rocker, though. Funny how you create a picture of someone due to how you interact in anonymity.

Absolutely shocking news. Now as far as football goes I rarely saw the game same way and as far as music goes he had shit taste but other than amazing feller with brains.

R.I.P.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Plain Speaking wrote:There was a very good poster on this forum, for many years, called "Ted Hughes". He left a number of years ago, I don't know why, but he posted later on Bluemoon under the name "Neville Kneville."

He has sadly recently died aged only 59. I've linked the thread on BM if anyone wants to leave a message?

Talking about being late ... Ted was very active before and after I decided to sign up on this board some 15+ years ago. Hate seeing him face the grim reaper at such a low age. 59 is nothing today.

He and Discopants etc, and the fun banter where the reason I signed up all those years ago. I found this forum much better than BM.
