He'd have to take the 16 shirt again though!

I always take the view that they simply mean "not internally generated" or whatever the term is that lets teams like united or Liverpool splash out but those who have benefitted from the most inward investment cannot. I do not doubt that if BP bought us it would be oil money, or if McDonalds bought us it would be burger money.

Do you think I'll get away with calling spuds money "Jewish money" or if the owners were black "black money"?? I'll guarantee there would be an uproar, even on here. Do you know what goads me, these fucking hypocrites clubs and media all accept oil money when it fills their coffers, who do you think pays premier League for broadcasting rights in Middle East, how much is it worth! That same money is shared by the 19 fucktards premier clubs whom preach human rights. I hope we sign Messi and Kane just to piss them off

Calling it bkack money or Jewish money would be racist, whichever way you look like it, and totally unacceptable. Calling it oil money, whilst crude, is in my view another way of saying it is from external sources. That's what I meant.

But they have called it Arab money! Oil money is referenced to Arab money. Technically you're correct if it's solely just oil but in reality there is underlining jibe.

Kanes embrassing climb down yesterday means he realised that we're not going to pay the silly money for him. And we've told him.
And he now he also realises he has no options and is stuck where he is in trophyless spud-land.
It's is own fault really.

You’ve gone to soon mate, he is on his way, City have for the first time ever have discussed a player. Kane was never going to start the season after a weeks pre season. This is all leading to the clubs talking as Kane returns to confirm he wants to join us. Levy has his figure we have ours, it will get done now.

I read it the same way as Hazy.
Spurs are spending the Kane cash already. Getting players in before the deal is signed. They have done this before with other long drawn out transfers.

It is just a question of the fee and horse trading will go to the last day of the season.

Agree with that. Kane's just come out with that statement as insurance in case it goes wrong and he has to stay.

And is is well known that we aren't bending over to stop the players who want to leave, and this will be the funding for Kane
I think if we can bring in another 100 million in sales through Silva, Jesus or whoever we will pull the Kane transfer together
I still think it is dependant on who we can sell this window

Pep emphisised time and again the amount we brought in already 60m and he will do the same again when Kane arrives.
Just to stop the vermin who say we spend 250m from forgetting we will bring in maybe 200m

It's all part of the side swipe at the media for our spending, and that we are waiting for sales before we commit to Kane, shows we are doing good housekeeping

Who did the rags sell, btw, when they splashed out getting on for 150million?

Ok but not convinced we will raise the money,£130m+, by sales alone well before the end of the month to allow time for the kane deal.

Who will pay the money we will want and need?

We're told everyone is skint! And we won't be selling to PL rivals.

Laporte and Bernardo want out it seems, but like you say where to?
The Spanish clubs can't afford them so that's that unless there's some creative accountancy from Real!
Barca are just a basket case and you would think Atletico will have to sell first.
Bernardo to Arsenal???? Maybe!

By my reckoning we brought in about £35m from selling Angelino, Harrison and Nmecha. Add in the £11m we got as a sell on for Sancho, plus the £35m to £50m from Bayern for Sané that wasn't in last year's accounts (something to do with rolling up 2 year accounts due to COVID) and Grealish is virtually a free signing, leaving plenty in the pot for a striker!

But Arse have 70 mil?
This is the market value for him and I really think we should keep it for a change and get some money.

Why would he go to Arsenal though? Seriously.
Keane called out Wright yesterday saying going from Leicester to Arsenal would be a backwards step in discussing Arsenals interest in Maddison. And we are miles ahead of Leicester regardless of yesterday's game.

If he goes, it will be to Atletico Madrid. I could even see Chelsea sniffing round as well

Hard to see anyone giving us market value for either Bernie or Laporte at this point. Can only see us trading in players as no fucker abroad has any money and i dont see either going to psg

Why not?
Then we have a problem, the Spafia has a problem.

We are seeing reports of Abraham going for 40 mil, a virtually sub. Ben White went for 50 mil and he won fuck all, while Laporte won everything in England, twice or three times.
We have players with huge market value, but we cannot sell them at the right price, then questions need to be asked.

They are doing a good job, but this is an issue.
