Only thing to debate is -

- Jelly
- Ice Cream
- Jelly and Ice Cream

When the day comes.

Funny thing is, in Northern Ireland they say - ice cream and jelly -
I said to my wife that’s the wrong way round she said no jelly and ice cream is wrong way round, so I gave in

Their wage bill is higher than ours, is it not? Perhaps that includes bills for hacking services and "inspirational drinks".

He should have won one by now, I don't doubt his talent but he's becoming desperate and it's telling. Is it a case of not good enough or a mental block for the manager and players

That's debatable

Is it? 1986 he joined, 1999 he won it. Is there something to debate there?

Yes. He took part in 93/4 to 97/8 and won it in 98/9. I'd call that five years.

He only won it twice in 20 years. That sounds even worse.

Prior to that he had the same financial advantage over the competition as a champions league team has got today. He spent an absolute fucking fortune.

But of course that only seems to matter when it’s us.

And he did not have the authorities, refs and media doing everything in their power to ensure they lost.
Roy Keane and Scholes used to get away with as much as Casimiro did against us. Rudiger was allowed to assault Kev, etc...
Now flip those decisions in our favor - we would have won it by now.

What I don't get is why he became "Sir" after 99?
Today I would understand, he had a career behind him, can't take that away from him, but then? Was it because Aberdeen?

No.

tony b liar, the war criminal, sorted it out so he would get the thick, inbred mune hordes to vote for him. Sadly it worked.

Apologies to all for the politics but that is what happened as I remember it. I can delete is anyone is offended.

As long as you don’t start a thread on it and just post comments to yourself when there’s already a dedicated thread I won’t report it.

I never understood it back then, thanks for the clarification.
Is there a list with ex-footballers/coaches that have the knighthood?

Knighthoods used to be for the Charles Darwins and Isaac Newtons. Now kenny fucking dalglish gets one and Stephen Hawking doesn’t.

Knighthoods are about as useful as an obe (other buggers efforts)
back in the day.... king Arthur calls for knights to defend England and you get Lancelot, galahad, Hawaii, Percival...... and all the other bad ass mofos suiting up in armour and big fuck off swords ready to die for their country.....
Today.... the runner calls for knights to defend the realm and you get...... Elton John... John major.... Tony Blair...... Prince Charlie.... Ralph Lauren.....

Fuck me readers......
I wish there was a way to know you are in the good old days....before you've actually left them...

The scum should have never been allowed to enter the FA Cup after they chased the money in Brazil. 20 plus years before a super League they were flirting with doing 1.

If Haaland’s done like it seems, I wonder if he’s agreed to extend as part of that deal.
