Don't forget the media have told us umpteen times over the past four years that MU has excellent players, some even world class:
Ronaldo, Bruno, Sancho, Rashford, DeGea, Maguire, Verane......
They have also bigged up others when they could: McTominay, Shaw, Wan Biscuit.....

Personally, I think they miss Pogba, he was the key.

Cannot remember who commentated on their game on MOTD...... their opening comment was along the lines "the front three as good as it gets.... Sir Rashford...... tranny.......sancho I've had more manure managers than I've scored goals for my dream club"

The pain Gary Neville is going through is a joy to watch. Still wanting to stay friends with the players his only out is to slag off the owners. Granted they just use the club as a cash cow and i wouldn't want them but it is typical of the shop stweard that the problems lie at the top and not with the players. The whlle club is rotten but yesterdays performance was piss poor Sunday pub league stuff at best. Players pulling those wages should hang there head in shame. If i was a Glazer i'd be binning them if i could. Jamie Redknapp debating with Neville on the touchline with the 2 women just watching at one side was brilliant

Am loving every minute of this. A total shit-show from top to bottom. Truth is, it's the players and tactics and they are a long old way behind us. Got off the coach on the way home yesterday found a fiver on the the side of the road then got in my local to witness that first half. Had to sit outside from ht as thought i may have had a heart attack had Brentford scored again what an afternoon

Saw a bit of his ranting with Redknapp.
Neville was saying that the owners had not put one penny of their own money into MU.
That the money invested in the squad came from loans and revenues generated by the club's massive fan base.
Not like Chelsea, Newcastle and City.

I had a few thought after that, don't know if they are valid and accurate they could be just perceptions but anyways:

1. Neville was a worshiper at the Glazer alter, long after he retired from football
2. Ferguson is still a worshiper at their alter. No criticism of the Glazers ever and brought back lately as an advisor
3. MU's model of ownership is the USA model. Maximize revenues, minimize costs = maximum profits. $$$s are king, nothing else matters.
Neville has been extremely supportive of this business model
4. Newcastle, City and Chelsea operate 'sugar Daddy' models. No debt, invest in the football club, the community, the future. Sugar Daddy pays.
Neville has been extremely critical of this business model.
5. Because the USA model cannot compete financially with the sugar daddy model, Neville thinks it is unfair.
Simply because MU are falling behind following the USA model.
6. MU players have been bigged up by Neville, are amongst the highest paid in the PL, coached by former Neville colleges.
According to Neville it is all the Glazer's fault.

Someone needs to get him sitting down in a proper environment for a debate and rip him a new one.

In summary, a mouthy hypocrite.

The jizzing over Jesus starting to do my headin. They're making out getting best out of him where we failed. Playing for a team expected to win titles brings different pressures than a team vying for top 4. Enjoy your mini parade

With City he won 4 PL titles and lots of Cups. His role was to do specific jobs that benefited the team play.
Lets see what he wins with Arsenal. His role there is out and out CF. He is expected to score a lot of goals.

But don't expect the media to let fact get in the way of their narrative.
