I hope you are going to pay the copyright fees for quoting that song.

You can hope.

Nah come on , he's been a bit off the boil in recent games , but despite the fact that it was Bristol City, very few of us can roll the ball foward like he did
and smack the ball into the corner of the net . very few of us . it wasn't his fault Erling couldn't finish the header . tin tin did the right thing there. We have to see the game as a whole and not just knee jerk react to one or two scenes.

Just to be clear, Kev having of days, does not faze me. His quality trumps any concerns some have. If I have noticed a slight and it’s slight it might just be Kyle who is showing some vulnerability.

It sort of used to be that if a player gave the ball away, certainly twice, he was out next game, as that's a main Pep thing and it's sort of how we end up conceding those breakaway goals - Razza used to do it too.

No one is doubting Kev's brilliant work, but it's interesting how people are willing to tolerate all his stray passes because 'he's Kev'. Some of it was beyond belief on Saturday.

Not precious about it, just find the fan psyche interesting!

Absolutely nobody tolerates it because " he's Kev". He was rightly substituted on Saturday and everyone was calling for it.
However plenty are doubting his brilliant work. His stats are off the scale. We don't realise how lucky we are.

Whose doubting his brilliant work ? No one has ( that I have read ) just plenty of comments about his drop in ‘form’ this season - and before you spout on about his stats , he’s been dropped and he’s been subbed by pep who also mentioned that kev “can be much better “ and he’s not been playing as well as he can play ( more or less what he said )

2 fans on here, Hazy and Beefy, slagged all and sundry off for pointing it out on a thread , even calling it disrespectful for bringing it up and even you yourself slagged off the poster who started a thread that was well worthy of discussion.

Yes he is in decline, but his game is still good enough for us and his country, he just might have to limit his game time. Ageing process comes to us all. There have been a few midfield players that have lasted into there mid 30's but usually they have slowed down and had younger players do the running for them

In his prime a couple of years ago so maybe slowly going down hill. When he's bad he's terrible but when he's good he's brilliant. Still good enough for the big games even though you don't know which kevin will turn up.

He hardly lost the ball last night and battled for 50/50 balls that he normally wouldn't have gone for and tracked back more.

PeP was spot on for calling him out to go back to basics - last night was KDB back to his absolute best.!!

I think he always battle and tracks back- but last night as you say he was awesome.
When he's on one of his shit days like he was against Newcastle you can tell very early doors.
Last night from that great cross to Gundo in the early minutes he was on it as he is the majority of the time.
Brilliant man-management by Pep.
