Correct. He is a stupid boy.
Holidays? He's been on holiday since last August.

Surely a goal from Haaland. No goal line technology. Haaland taken off at half time with ‘niggles’.

This pre-season must be one of the worst in a long time.

Bobb impressing is a positive. But I think the Euros have messed up our preparation.

Seems haaland gets lots of ‘ niggles’
So much for his training regime and diet bollocks .

I don't care much about pre-season. What I care is how do you motivate an aging squad that won everything?

Keep in mind that footballers are not the same we grew up, that wanted glory every week.

That is my biggest concern for the season ahead.

Against Barca C. Fuck me he has to have an alright game every so often. The fact Pep is playing him CB instead of Doyle pisses me off. Another example of We Paid Nearly £50m So He Has To Play Above a Grad

The squad is relatively young.
The only ones nearing the end of their career are Kev and Walker, Bernie, Stones and Kova are 30 this year supposedly right in their prime and when you think of Gvardiol, Foden, Haaland, Alvarez, Doku, Savio all under 25 then you have Rico and Bobb it's a really young squad.
I was watching the Centurions season on Sky a few days ago and it's unbelievable how the personnel and the tactics have changed.

Pre seasons are important for youngsters getting face time with Pep. A golden opportunity to learn but also catch his eye. Nico Williams obviously impressed him.

Just seen our penalty shootout.

Stuff of nightmares.
Beside the fact we can't score, both of our keepers can't save shit. I would rather have Carson in goal at a penalty shootout rather than any of them.

Maybe KP is being played to put him in the shop window?

Pre season is a blend of a lucrative tour, growing the fan base, seeing what the Academy boys look like against proper adults, putting guys in the shop window who we would like to move on and easing the rest of the squad into position for what is always a long season

In terms of the results, pre season is utterly irrelevant. And to a large degree, so is giving minutes to the first teamers. Experienced players know what they have to do. Fitness, however, is another matter. And again, experienced players should come back fit. And that is what the gym and training ground is for

We will be fine this season. We won’t win or lose the league based on a pre season

Our first goal ruled not over the line despite being a good foot over. So in my mind 3- 2 in normal time. Phillips did marginally better but he's as lazy as fuck tracking back. No place for him at City and no surprise he missed our first penalry and got us off to a bad start. Our pwnalties were shit. Grealish took his goal well. No worries for me, kids did well
