Spot on. Makes getting rid of Delap all the more stupid. He could have come on for Haaland or played the cup games to rest him. Obviously wouldn’t be on the same level as Erling, but who is?!

There’s also an argument to replace players when they have peaked to get as much money to refresh the squad. You also risk injuries and players form being on a downward spiral

Look at KDB and Foden

I absolutely hate saying it; but Ferguscum knew when the players time was done and they got as much money for them as they possibly could. He had that spot on

I'm probably just a soft lad but I honestly don't think it's deliberate. I just think they're mentally and physically exhausted now and added to developing the losing habit and low confidence it's become a vicious circle

Not having that , he left a can of worms at the end. He didn't always get it right on the transfer market either. They have paid big money for wasters for decades

Further , it was only because they were in cahoots with everybody and anybody that fergie got away with so much.
.Now even Fergie time works against them as we saw yesterday. Roof leaks, massive debt, owned by shysters , milking them blind.

City may not be perfect, but look at how the area and the edihad stadium has been massively improved , as well as winning trophies at the same time.

We only know with hindsight that some players proved a waste of money. phillips in particular. At the time , it seemed ok.

Possibly. Ederson telling Pep, “I don’t feel like playing” is a biggy though. Same for Stones. Pep saying that he doesn’t know what is wrong with Kev, and neither do the medical staff, is also massive. I think they don’t give a fuck

Ake is one of the guys who puts his body on the line. Walker, for all his faults, is another who shows up
Gundog as well is another who doesn’t shy away
Foden too

KDB, Stones, Ederson, Grealish have all shown their arses and for my money could go in January

Bernie, Haaland at least turn up. But they are lacking on the pitch and need and should be doing a lot more

In a small squad we have too many guys not putting 100% in and we need to get to the bottom of this before we get better

Did Eddie really say that word for word? Or did he say to Pep i don't feel well enough to play either due to sickness or carrying a knock?

As for the rest, I reckon Pep gets bored of being asked same old shit in his pressers and just says half arsed comments in distain to the wankers of the press. You only have to look at his body language when during most pressers to see that.

Some managers love the attention of pressers, the likes of Klipperty, Warnock, Holloway etc al.

Pep, just wants to concentrate on football and even after a shit game, he just goes to them and says we played well in order to shut the cunts up. I doubt for one second he thinks we played well.

Yeah, that’s what Ederson said word for word.

Do we have a video of it? Don't think I've seen it or read a direct quote from Eddie saying he said it anywhere.

I wouldn't be suprised Ed looks like he wants to be elsewhere and Kevin looks disinterested.

Kev might get a renewal offer, but it wont be on the terms he now has.

He should take it anyway , give something back to the younger players. He's been injured quite a lot in his career, not just at City

Always looks miserable in Pep's company, we should thank him and let him go. Not interested in him walking around with a face like a slapped arse anymore. Fuck him off.

I am not in Peps Company enough to know whether Kev looks miserable when Pep has him around. So i can't really have an opinion on that. He looked quite upbeat when the Cameras focused on him during the game against Everton.

Heard he reached tranny's away goals record. With +70 games less.
So no, keep him here until he retires.

another game where he would have bagged a hattrick before we went to shit
should have buried the chance kev made for him
was really unlucky after a quality dribble through 3 or 4 of theirs before just putting it wide
bagged a simple one from sav’s cross
