I reckon we all share this concern. We have the spine of which I don't include Dias. Full backs still worry me but we are at least two players short in the middle especially if Phil continues to be absent.

Ive just read a snippet from this new documentary thats coming out. I feel sorry for Pep.

After the Levekusan match he basically opened up to the players about him still being at City even though his family aren't here and he's gone through a divorce - and the players won't play with heart.

It might be a tough watch this.

Looking forward to watching this but agree might be a bit emotional.

Be good to see the difference to the ones when we were winning all the time

I 1000% agree with Pep. His team selections could have been better, but the players that were put out should have easily beat leverkusen and especially bobo glimt. The players did not show the required effort and passion - especially Walker who just fucked off as team captian half way through the season when things got tough

Apparently this new doc is a hard watch. A few of us on here wanted Pep gone because it was clear it was taking its toll on his personal life - we did get shot down by a few posters that don't post anymore but it's clear from the quotes in this doc that he was really struggling.

I never really warmed to KDB (although always appreciated he's one of the premier leagues greatest ever players) but I'll admit I was welling up watching that last night.

This is why we need to understand and accept that some players just decide to fuck off to another club even if they have not fulfilled their contract - there is little loyalty once a club doesn’t want you so why should a player be loyal ?

People need to understand that about their jobs, you are replaceable and if they decide you’re not needed anymore it doesn’t matter how long and how much you love the place, you’re gone !
