Rico as a small boy. Nice photo.

Now for Bernardo and Walker extensions please. Plus Paqueta as well of course.

Looking forward to more good news this week with Bernie & Kyle extensions. Cancelo looks on the brink of a welcome exit at last but Laporte may have to stay along (very sadly IMO) with Phillips & Gomez. It's a longshot that either will feature in the expected Paqueta deal with West Ham although it seems Palmer could well end up there. Doku's signing looks very likely too, could be a real asset for us. Ortega to the odious Krauts will almost certainly leave us weaker, almost any replacement would be a downgrade - hope the club put our interests ahead of his. If we are fortunate enough to move Phillips on we could do worse than bid for Wolves Mateus Nunes again, played great last night and would be a proper backup for Rodri.

French report that Palace and Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle to the transfer of Olise. We never seemed to pursue him. Maybe because of our interest in Doku.

Didn't he have trouble settling in Manchester when he was with us as a teenager?
Maybe the club have noted that.

Chelsea have dished out 8 year contracts , that's how they have circumnavigated FFP , plus they made plenty in sales as well - big gamble on their part.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

If you want to understand more on it. Head to twitter and follow @slbsn on twitter. He is a City fan (Stefan) and is a financial expert and has even provided consultancy to City in the past

He was on talksport this morning challenging Simon Jordan's views on it.

They’ve made a massive loss on him. Will the media mention it?

Luckily someone at West Ham saw sense and didn’t offer Maguire the money he wanted so the deal is off

Excellent news

Lavia to Chelsea all but done now.

It’s quite a curious case. Usually Pep was spot on about every youngster that left us. I am gutted a bit, glad Klopp didn’t get him, but based on the history so far, Pepito gets the benefit of the doubt.

Elise to follow soon by all accounts - Chavs spending nearly a £1billion in the last 12 months - they are happy to pay a fine for breaching the PL financial rules it seems

French report that Doku has agreed personal terms with City. His club Rennes want 50 million euros for him. West Ham interested too but no chance if City really want him.

His current value is €28m, we'll be telling them to swing, no way we'll pay £50m.
