Except perhaps that after watching Leicester beat them he wanted Sterling's pace behind and sacrificed the whole balance of the team to do it by leaving out Fern. Mahrez would have made more sense.

Johnny, I usually find myself agreeing with almost all of your views but on this, I am unable to agree at all with your view on Sterling.
Week after week we have watched him deliver failure on the pitch. Time and time again, he has been the reason our attacks have been halted and chances lost. His form in front of goal has been nothing short of abysmal.
Your theory about his spedd doesn't stand the test. He might be fast, he might get us up the pitch but then...WHAT?
He gets into space and stops, waits until confronted by defenders, holds the ball until the move is covered, runs up blind alleys, runs into defenders and falls over waving his arms from the floor.
There is no point teararsing down the line time and time again when the is never an end product.
It looks good, but it's fake. Like a boxer who chucks a lot of leather but never hits the target
Sorry mate.

I'm still struggling to shake it off my system. I'm not a fan of those Krauts but you can't argue with Matthaus.
