Klopp - One trophy in his time at that despicable club, a club that qualified for that very competition by not winning one jot. Nothing. A team that would have lost to Manchester City in the final had it not been for the slimmest of VAR margins in a quarter final, margins that the FA themselves have now discredited. A team that for one missed penalty and an absolute howler by Jordan Pickford would have lost the premiership by considerably more than one point.

Compare and contrast to Pep Guardiola, another in a meritorious line of "charming men" who delivered not only a defence of the toughest league in the world, but a treble that no manager has ever achieved in the 130 years of history of the football league, breaking record after record in doing so. A manager of a team that has won eight times and many trophies as Liverpool F.C during his tenure.

By every possible measure, Pep Guardiola is the better manager and to overlook him for this award tells you all you need to know about the powers who run the beautiful game,

I don't think our gracious owner needs to lower himself to the level of the gutter turds , as Baldrick would say.

They will crumble soon enough .

Nice but Whoscored's player rating system is shit. As an example Aguero got a 10 against Watford, he played well enough but according to their own stats he had just 1 shot from 6 on target and that was the penalty.

Well Sky , BT and the Trinity group certainly went massively overboard on MCFC last weekend . A sustained attempt to de stabilise us from all angles . But we won our match got 3 points and knowing pep and his staff last weekends outrageous onslaught will galvanise MCFC once again to succeed.

It has been alleged that Liverpool paid Manchester City £1m in 2013, following a complaint that City's scouting system had been hacked.

Strangely, the story flickered and died in little more than 24 hours. No outraged commentaries, no follow-ups, no widespread condemnation.

Michael Edwards, who was said to have accessed the Scout7 database, is not only still at Liverpool but has since been promoted, from head of performance and analysis to director of sport, where he does a brilliant job. Yet imagine if that had been reversed.

Imagine if City had been accused of hacking Liverpool's private files six years ago, shortly after Roberto Mancini landed their first title. It's fair to say we wouldn't have heard the last of it.

Sky this morning. "VAR call hands Arsenal draw at United". WTF

Making out that Arsenal were lucky? Both teams were utter shite but a draw was a fair result.

Hope he doesn't play. We can beat Zagreb without him. We need him fully fit and 100% in more important and difficult games
