Mancini is the man who killed the attackers. Adebayor, Tevez, Bellamy ... Adebayor scores now, Tevez was destroyed. Dzeko potted four goals, and the next match on the bench, but because baloteli game and does what? attack the opposing player and scoring the penalty. but he certainly would not be in the MCFC that it did not lead Mancini.

How can you tell he has been lazy in away matches by making a judgement of what you see on the telly.You just said that you can't tell what a player does from the pictures.He might be running round like a cunt .How would you know? Are you making assuptions.And the people who are dissing the ones who hero worship Edin don't you think it's nothing more than some people feel towards say Uwe or Niall Quin or Goater.The people who have Edin as their hero are doing nothing different to these people

My problem with him is what I see at home, where he is lazy (not the only one, but this thread is about him).

I was then defending the difference in opinion of the people who only see him on TV, as they don't get to see what he does off the ball. for the Swansea match, I saw the 10 minutes or so on MOTD2 and listened to the radio commentary. I'd therefore say those who saw the whole game and those who were there would have a better judgement than I have of that game.

Thank you for your acknowledgment of Dzeko's performance against Sporting. People here aren't out to get him, but that day against Spurs seems a very long time ago, but makes it all the more annoying knowing what he's capable of.

Although I didn't see the Swansea game (I'm in England, so not allowed to watch it), Mancini's tactics did sound wrong and he was late with his subs, again. I suggest you wander into some of the other topics, where you'll find that every player and member of staff gets a slagging, regardless of creed, colour or religion. We're very much equal opportunity abusers here

In regard to Dzeko he gets a great support from fans at the game despite his very indifferent form of late. The fans are always singing his name and I think he gets more support than most. I am afraid though if he continues as he has been doing that the fans will lose patients with him.

I did not mean to come across as someone trying to be a WUM,I just get pissed of with people telling me that because I do not go to the matches I cannot see whats going on.

What I'm trying to say is that I get a very different perspective from the games I'm at (home) and the ones I only see on Sky (away). You're at the mercy of the director, who naturally follows the ball in a more zoomed in way than the majority of fans perspective. If you only see highlights its even worse - I've been to terrible games and then seen the MOTD highlights and wondered where they got the footage from.

It's definitely not a 'who's the best fan' argument. It's just the perspective from what you can see. In some ways I'd say someone on the front row of the bottom tier has a very different view from someone on the 3rd tier (sat on the front row once in a cup game and could barely see SWP on opposite wing).

During a home game, if Hart has the ball I'll look to see what shape we have and what the movement is (usually none). The Dzeko angle was therefore that at home I rarely see him working the defence off the ball - he just stands waiting for something to happen. On TV you wouldn't know either way, as he'd be out of shot. Therefore his play is at times worse than those who only see a game on TV realise.
