Isco

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Malaga's Owner posted on Twitter: "Isco to Real Madrid? It's the player choice & we can't do anything about it." I can see what most people will read this to mean, looks on the face of it to mean bad news for us but you never know.

Actually the next words from the same translation say ' I would have hoped he'd stay in Spain' which sounds very promising. I suspect it's a mistranslation and he meant left Spain because fans don't want to see him play against Malaga.

If he is standing up the Real deal it means that Isco himself wants to go there and his mind needs to be changed by Pellegrini which will be hard. However, the uncertainty of the translation leaves a little room for doubt.

I've just looked at his verified account and cannot see where tweeted that, if you persist with quoting twitter, please back it up with a link to the horses mouth??

He was asked if the player signed for Madrid and he answered its the player's choice but if he had to leave malaga i wish that he stayed in Spain. He also tweeted that he's going to Dubai on business trip?

An Arab fan on BM saying the words in Arabic are very confused. It does seem to be his genuine account. According to this guy he says they had to sell but actually Real haven't paid the release clause so that's wrong. Then he says he personally wanted him to go another Spanish club. This could mean he is pleased that Real got him or that he is disappointed that he's going to City. I don't think these words are conclusive either way.

Why does it seem some people think we have a right to know everything before its happened?

Its like opening your Christmas presents before Christmas day. Soon as you open them, you wish you hadn't and it spoils Christmas day.

Sit back, relax, turn the laptop off and see whats happened by the end of tomorrow.

Marcia the Spanish newspaper have an article on their web page under 'real madrid' section which states 'Don't miss the best moves and goals by Real Madrid's latest signing' a direct reference to Isco

http://www.marca.com/2013/06/22/en/foot ... 31708.html

If this is bull shit then it's more than just poor journalism as it's not factual. Indeed if as it appears, as of now nothing is official, then it's inappropriate to publish this.

Wtf are you on about ?

Any scratching, biting or lying.

They are just negotiating like us and the papers are making up the rest.

Thick twat.

Well I didn't mean literally scratching biting or lying, as you know I didn't, you stupid cunt.

They have been using every trick in the book to try & get Isco to sign, including their mates in the media telling everyone he already has done. Imagine every street he went down whilst on holiday, he would get Real Madrid plastics all patting him on the back & welcoming him to their club & him having to deal with it without agreeing to anything or saying the wrong thing.

All this just because City are after him. Not because we have offered ten times as much money, or even 1.5 times as much money. Just a straight shootout between us & Real & us giving them a genuine battle as a viable alternative club, to Real Madrid.

That's fucking quality, irrespective of whether you are too negative or stupid to see it.

Yes they would.

They have previous when Real are after a big player. All part of the dirty tricks/bullshit.

You can't tell anything either way with them or AS. The only time you will know is when Real actually announce it, or City do.

Just reading various tweets about Isco - seems Malaga fans don't want him sold to Madrid - you'd think the club themselves wouldn't want him to strengthen a rival... Can't work this one out!

The one thing that worries me is not long ago Marca were saying Isco would'nt get game time at Madrid as there were at least 3 players already on Madrid's books that play in Isco's position. Now they claim he is their player very worrying if you ask me.

Malaga are all about the money now.

That nutjob of a sheikh would shut that club down if a rival paid him enough to do it. It's a madhouse in Malaga!

The thing is the most reliable source I find is sky sports news, they have announced nothing what so ever? So surely if they don't no anything it's pure speculation at the moment? Also it's not even on the Real Madrid official website? So surely if it ain't on there they ain't signed him yet, judging by the time I reckon an announcement may be made tomorrow now.

This.

The fact we are in a shoot out with Real Madrid for a player shows how far we have come. Win or lose on Isco, we are fighting at the top table of football.. something city fans craved (and never imagined would happen) for what seemed like forever.
