Don't be silly . How on earth can you think that , he is turning to the play and needs lightning reaction to even move to the ball. Also , staying at the post might mean it goes in anyway off his body. That was a power header , badly defended .[/quote]
I disagree. For my money the man on the post stays there. If the ball passes him on the inside then that is the goalies territory. If the player drifts inside and the ball beats him on the outside, going to where he should have been the that is poor defending. Just my opinion
