Mansour has spoken to Florentino Perez and told him that there is no way they are having Tevez.
Khaldoon told Cook to make no comment whatsoever on anything said by KJ or press, he must give no response.

Tevez will stay til the end of this season and 1 more, then leave.

This is what I learned tonght. Believe it if you want, source is good, but his source is very close and apparently there are a lot of agenda's involved'

don't be daft. this is about money ffs. come on. think about it. However, if we don't have the "team" Carlo thinks will make CL then maybe it has contractual implications for him. Check the Kia thread for what i mean...it's not hard stuff to figure out in my mind based on what Kia has said so far.

cheers

i was one of the first posters on this board to start talking about the need not to rely on Tevez on the pitch, that was before all this. What i'm pointing out there is that i am not saying what i have above out of some love for Tevez. Im saying it because it is something that i read into the statemnts made by Tevez and KJ. Why im saying this is that none of us knows fucl all about it in reality and can only wait and see who says what and what happens. But meanwhile if you beleive it is all about money then you will come to the conclusion that Tevez and KJ are evil money grabbing bastards and wont see anything else in it and will probs be annoyed and upset by Tevez.
If you drop that angle for a minute, and read the statements by Tevez and co, they are clearly making the point theat there has been an ongoing argument between Tevez and the Club about aquisitions.

I am further suggesting that as we failed to land a out and out striker in summer, then this could be what is being refered to by Tevez and KJ.

You can all take what you want from that, but as i have said too many time already i am going with that as the reason behind the transfer request at his moment in time. I think the Club have promised certain types of players to Tevez and have failed to deliver so far.

Im sorry but how the hell do you get thats its about ''aquisitions''? Were nailed on to get dzeko. Mancini will never play balloteli/tevez and dzeko in the same team. These assurances must be money/family related/ treating baloltei the same as everyone else.

Who'd have thought we'd be having this thirty something page debate a few week's back when Carlos was eating the club badge???

How times change eh.

Don't get me wrong. I love Carlos to pieces - always will. He's everything you want when he's on the field.

Such a shame he is too thick to see he is truly being turned out like a corner whore by Kia. He is Kia's golden goose. His personal piggy bank.

You wonder just how much Carlos owes to Kia. Where was he in his life when the enigmatic Iranian turned up. If Kia promised him untold riches, he certainly has delivered. And maybe that's the crux of what keeps El Apache dumb. He got the pig pay days he came to Europe in search of.

Fast forward 4 years and its the same fucking scenario.

And yet people on here are still searching for reasons as to why this has happened.

KJ wants a big payday and gets to have a pop at Cook. Tevez goes along with it because KJ delivers.

Bollocks to all this broken promises shit and strikers not been purchased or whatever the latest fucking theory is. Its all about two cunts.

.....amongst all the other reasons / issues etc - I do think that there is an issue with Balo

We heard none of this during the period Balo was injured and off the scene - then we start to hear comments about the poor attitude of 'young' players - then you see a (seemingly) deliberate attitude of freezing Balo out on the field - not passing etc (with Silva - who appears pretty matey with Carlos perhaps doing it as well) - then there are statements of Mancini favouritism for Balo - then you see the reaction of being subbed - which seemed less of an issue of being subbed - more of an issue of it happening with Balo staying on - then the shit happens

I would not be surprised if the Friday chat includes some clearing of the air in this regard - and if Carlos does not get appeased then he continues unhappy and if he is mollified it might lead to events that see Balo become more unhappy - although how would we notice that??

Oh and I think also that Carlos has big slice of remuneration tied up in what CITY achieve and therefore he has wanted assurances about who is coming in (he may not think that Balo fits the bill) and / or he might want those remuneration elements guaranteed rather than dependent.....

just some thoughts

I do not think for even a nano second that any City player is deliberately not passing to Mario.

Yeah - you are probably right Doug - it is probably more just Tevez - head down and oblivious to everyone else - but against Bolton I just kept getting the feeling that Balo was so often in such good positions yet the ball did not go near him - that it was really frustrating big time - but I guess in training you see them working together in a away that dispels this concern?

Tevez layed it off to Mario to hit the post against Bolton when he could've take it on himself. Tevez and Silva also had the assists for him at WBA.

Ok - just me then - based on the bolton game only - so I agree that best to assume that is wrong - still think that there may be some issue to Carlos about Balo though

Nah mate, it's not just you. On a couple of occasions in the first half, Tevez could very easily have slotted Marion in. It would have been easier than trying to score. Mario looks like a real poacher.

Maybe that's because he wouldn't normally expect anyone to be there or because he doesn't pulll his sulky weight or whatever. Mario had a real go at Tevez and they had words on the pitch (fuck knows in what language). Anyway, the second half was different. They played more as a team but the game should have been out of sight long before and if Tevez had had passed the ball instead of shooting, it probably would have been.

That said, I have no qualms with Tevez going for goal. The guy is a fuckin goal machine and long may it continue.

I dont think it is Mario thats the problem, I think its the fact that Tevez doesnt seem to pass to anyone. The first thing on his mind when he gets it is to shoot which in many cases is a real positive given his ability but also a real weakness if its not happeneing on the day. Take the Chelsea goal for example. Wha t a great finish. Silva however made a great run and could have easily been slipped in, he chose to shoot and scored so everyone is happy.
