IF we land reijnders and him for £80-90m vs £125m for wirtz it would be insane!

Is he alright then lad from Lyon?

He is a baller. Comes out as lazy from the 5 games I've seen him, but his touch is Romarioresque.
He got the best dribbler in France award last season, too bad he is might come in a league where there is a center back no one ever dribbled past.

Bet there's a few have dribbled on him, though.

It might be excited hype but I have read some believe he is better that Wirtz.

I am not convinced we are actually after him, but we are using him to make Forest lower their demands for Gibbs White.

We should throw in a bid for Bruno eat an orange through a letterbox at the swamp. Seems he wants out to the desert. That would be the end of scruffy jim et al. Would bring them crashing down. Get him and sell him on would be piss funny

I hope he goes. £70-£80 is not adding too much to the kitty with their committed outlays on outstanding tfrs e.g. sancho and banana the keeper, agree that them not getting anything for him may be better but we know that scruffy jim is all about the £ and they'll not turn down daft money for him

Can't understand why any City fan would want him to stay, his goals/assists records are through the roof year after year. They'd probably have gone down without him last season.

A few reasons Stupot my friend

1 - A sale could bring in £70+M which in the rags current financial situation could be life saving as there’s no CL or indeed any European money

2 - He is a snake and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was at the root of the issues they have in the dressing room. Or at the very least a substantial part of it

3 - I don’t think he will be as effective in Amorim’s 3-4-3 system as he hasn’t got the legs

4 - At 31 in September his resale value will only decrease significantly in the next couple of years as will his effectiveness on the pitch

5 - An awful club captain who is not and never will be a leader and the longer he stays the better. An extension of point 2.

He's definitely a snake but he's been one of the few who has been effective in his system. He's got a good couple of years at his peak yet and he never seems to get injured.

Behave. That’s on a par with saying you’d take Shrek as a coach

But you know they'll only spunk the money away on another superstar, who'll turn to shite as soon as he steps inside the swamp.

Surely not they're signing anyone and everyone? All a sneaky plan, McAtee left out of CWC squad not going to the swamp as the beeb would have us believe but going to BL and Witz coming here

I would think McAtee has no future here. Speak with Brighton, Palace. We can do deals with them for players we have seen do very well v us and in the league. Sad for James but it’s got to be to our benefit. Chelsea will have 4 players from us one way or another in there squad. Take Trafford back from Burnley as a start. No brainer. We need another forward to mix it up imo. Eze Jao Pedro. All Premier League proven.
