Goodbye and good luck Richard. City legend!!
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Not worried about the price and I know its onward and upwards for us, but I'm a bit gutted. I really would of loved to see Dunnie lifting a trophy at wembley in a blue shirt.

Don't really want him to go.
He should have been given another year, purely for testimonial purposes.
What a legend he has been for us.
Just hope the Villa fans appreciate what they've got from us.

Still if we want players like Ned to make it then Dunie going will bump the lad up the pecking order.

I know it's a bit premature, but he may decide Villa is not for him.

Yes a fee has been agreed and all indications are that he is looking to move, but he may decide and stay....you just never know.

is this a done deal?
Has distin signed for villa as well?
might be a great move by o'neill paring the two up again. both have things to prove, and they know eachother really well.

Very sad Dunnie has gone. He had started this season in fine form imho. I think he was starting to settle with better players around him.

City stuck by him when we could have easily got rid of him when he came in pissed the first time. But I'm glad we did stick by him and he made everyone change their opinion of him. Just think, back when he was getting disciplined by KK who would have thought he would have gone on to become City captain and player of the year a few season on the trot. Good luck to him.

All the best to the Dunney Monster. Proved a lot of us wrong after his less than ideal start with KK. I thought that we'd keep him even with Toure & Lescott coming in but it would seem that the writing was on the wall with us offering Nedum a new five year deal. Fair play to the guy, he obviously wants to start as many games as is possible and is looking for that challeng at Villa

Good Luck Dunney

Is this the last bit of our identity from say five years ago gone now? Does that make Ireland and Richards our longest serving players now? I suppose we can kind of count Shaun.
