FUCKING PERFECT!!

What he said, it couldn't of gone any better :)

disagree a draw at Atrse would have meant with games in hand we could catch both of them

fail

1 Chelsea 26 39 58
2 Man Utd 26 41 57
3 Arsenal 26 31 52
4 Liverpool 26 16 44
5 Man City 24 15 44
6 Tottenham 26 19 43
7 Aston Villa 25 13 42

take 2 points of arse and give pool 1 and we are in better shape to get 3rd

Hmmmm. We win our games in hand and we are eight points behind Chelsea with them still to play...we are not out of the title just yet!

Thats IF we win our 2 games in hand and IF we do we are still only 2 points behind Arsenal anyway? I think are main priority at the moment is to get 4th. And If we can comfortably start winning games week in week out then yes 3rd is in with a good shout.

we would probably catch Liverpool even if they'd picked up a point. catching arse would be easier if they were on 50.
Can't see why that's controversial

Good set of results. As Villa, Spurs and Liverpool all have to come and play in our house the road to 4th spot goes directly through COMS.

Forget finishing third, our away form is simply not good enough to get us to 75 plus points that we would need. Fourth is much more viable and realistic as our opponents for this spot are every bit as fragile as we are. The Liverpool home game is huge - beat them and we can stick a fork in them. Over to you City.

arsenals remaining fixtures are not a bad set to have. I would prefer their run in so I agree that 3rd is a bridge too far.
lets start with 3 points next tuesday.

It could not have gone better for us tonight without any doubt - only downside is seeing Chelski beaten at the Blue Dippers. They might as well give the Rags the trophy now as it's a predictable as fuck.

Let's not forget the teams at the bootom of the table. Wolves would gain 3 points and Hammers 2 which would put Bolton bottom. Other team just above them would be in serious trouble as well, bringing them right into the dog-fight.

Pompey going bust would turn the entire league on its' head. Harry Redknap and Co have a lot to answer for, including the FA/Prem League.

What an utter fucking clown Mick McCarthy is. In his press conference he's just said something along the lines of "why can't we take points off the big boys" - this coming from the man who deliberately lost a game at sold trafford by putting out a weakened squad.

After the depressing post Hull tirade on here it was quite nice to hear the pain of other football supporters. It's a strange human phenomena shadenfreude...

nothing has made me feel better about humankind today than popping in there for a peak. Fantastic stuff. I liked this one best.

We are a bunch of one dimensional ****s. Harry has slowly turned us into a long ball team and we have totally gone against the system that has served us so well.

I said the moment we signed Crouch that he will be a bad buy, reason being he will always be a reason to go long. If we had Keane and Defoe upfront we would have to play football.

JJ and Palacios are in dire form. Both can't pass or score. Hudd can't score. Mod can't shoot. Niko can't score. Crouch is useless. Pav is never given a chance. Defoe is not superman. Lennon is injured. Bentley is trying. Bale is the only one who looks a threat.

We are shocking.
