Dzeko nearly got Kolarov's cross and Barry nearly scored from Boateng's. At least I think so! stream not great! Deserve to be level in my opinion.

No speed and no genuine width. Anything looking like a counter that doesn't involve Kolarov gets slowed down by Yaya and Barry - got to wonder what the gameplan is.

Seriously how are we 1-0 down?

We have dominated that half! Trust Bent to score the one chance they have!

Silva needs to turn the magic on, Edin needs service!!

Very interesting.Yet again we have started a game as if still under the effects of mogadon! Villa tactically have us sorted out. They are just sitting back asking us what we have and then threatening on the break if they can.

It was very noticeable when Kolarov pinged that ball accross to Silva on the right that he was already marked even though we were going down the left. Villa consistently had 6 across the back line and 3 in front of it.We are playing with little pace and little movement and if we stay like this a draw is the best we can hope for. I wonder how Mancini will change things second half.

Some very average performances from city players.Dominating possesion but not very effectively.Kolarov is about the only one playing very well tonight, has had some fabulous deliverys into the box just a pity nobody has managed to turn one in.

Need to improve big time in the second half.Would like to see more from Tevez and Silva neither turned up in the first half

Got to see more movement off the ball and Tevez needs to get into the danger areas more.

At the moment we're trying to play the game like Barcelona on Valium.

movement too slow, no penetration. We need some penetration. Please, won't someone give us some penetration????

It is almost 16 years since we won an away league fixture when behind at ht.

Quite an almighty trend needs to be bucked.
