12 goals/12 assists to Robinho's 14 and 3. Udinese finished 4th, AC 1st.

There chairman is saying this could roll on until the window is about to close. I'm now officially not interested until it's on the OS!

Just posted in the other thread but that's what I'd be doing too - using the situation and the time left to get every penny I could.

They've just said on TalkSport that David Gill had been in talks with Sanchez' agent in Spain yesterday and the outcome was looking good.

And Nasri!

I find it funny how TalkSport seem to get all this info that never seems to be right, more audience driven.

We have this with every bloody player, last summer it happened with Ya Ya, Silva, Milner and Balotelli - "United will step in with a bid" and the classic "Player really wants to go to Utd" etc etc. The other press or Agent favourite is to invent interest from City, and then claim the player has turned City down, so the press run with "Player x has snubbed Man City" etc etc.

Yawn. Gab Marcotti had it right last night when he confirmed that United had been watching Sanchez but if they really wanted him they would have jumped in a long time ago when the price would have been a lot cheaper. Udinese are trying to drum up an auction - give them till the weekend, and if the offer isnt accepted, we should pull the pegs, piss off and look elsewhere just like we did with Eto'o a couple of years ago.

Last news about the Nino Maravilla? Tuttomercatoweb in Italy just says 26 ml £ is what David Gill promises to Gino Pozzo to sign Alexis Sanchez. I believe we could offer more than this!

I don't think Nasri will be going anywhere until the Fabregas thing is sorted. If he goes, Nasri steps into his shoes with a decent pay-rise. If he stays, Nasri will be looking to move with a hefty pay-rise, but to us?

I will roll with this group.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Alexis is a top class striker for me, an assist man much more than a top scorer. Don't let him go to the swamp or the fucking bstds will go on to win titles even in the next years!

It could be that they plan to dump Nani or alternatively not sign Ashley Young, but When Utd were at their best, they always had TOO MANY attacking options. That's something I've been advocating on here for the past 3 years. People always say "where will we fit him in ?" but that doesn't matter to Ferguson. He signs the best attacking players he's allowed to, in order to give him as many options as possible for when he gets injuries, loss of form etc etc. He doesn't worry about the players; if they can't get in the team, he moves them on, but not until it suits him.

Last year, Valencia's injury made him change his plans. He's insuring against it happening again.

I think even the most die hard scum fan would admit even they cannot have Nani, Valencia, Young and Sanchez on the books at the same time, even 3 of these would be a push.

Reasons;

Nani, the diving cheating twat, still was statistically the best player in the league last year, no chance in hell he'd accept being benched.

Young (pretty much certain to sign for the rags btw) also won't join with a view to bench warming given the number of other clubs lining up to have him start for them.

Even more so than Young, Sanchez will demand a starting place, 27-30 million players definitely aren't brought in to bench warm, especially those of his talent.

Valencia may be more open to a rotation role but realistically he'll soon tire of that, every player wants to start, the best even more so than the rest, no player will sit on the bench happy forever (Boateng being a good example)

Add to the conundrum that, Berba, Rooney still have to fit into the whole attacking ethos and a move for Sanchez just sounds ridiculous to me.

Conclusion;

Either Nani is being offloaded from the swamp, or it's total paper talk.
