I disagree though, they look totally disjointed and without a big front man and Modric they are going to struggle I feel. Then again, it will be against us!

as we're being reminded every 5 minutes during the commentary they are the "champions."

they looked good for 30 minutes against a spurs setup that had no chance, ever.

they can be beaten...for sure.

Message to Mr Cook: Don't answer Levy's phone call tonight, let him sweat and then offer him Ade at a cut-down price of 20 mil and a packet of crisp. He'll rip your hand off after that shambles.

PS. I didn't see vdV and Defoe speak or pass to each other once in that game. Problems eh Twitchy?

Get you now. They are the 'Champions', as everyone tells us endlessly, and won't be moved easily. Like tonight, most teams will fold before they even get on the pitch but when you look at their goals they came from seriously bad defending due to a lack of organisation and cohesiveness. The top teams won't be so easy for them as the likes of us and Chelsea are better set in my opinion and many others will just go for the draw. They are definately the team to beat but over a season I feel we can triumph if we play with the style we are playing at the moment.

If Utd give us the space to play in that they gave Spurs, we will tear them a new arsehole. If we give Spurs the space Utd gave them, Spurs will tear us a new arsehole. They never had any intention of beating Utd tonight; just going through the motions waiting for them to score; fucking disgraceful. There was no pace to Utd's game whatsoever until they scored btw. Then Spurs threw the towel in. That goal Anderson scored; 3 Spurs players let him run ahead of them & couldn't be arsed even trying to pick him up. The 1st goal, they had 3 defenders marking 4 Utd players in their own box. Almost any ball in had a decent chance of turning out to be a goal. Rooney's goal ;Corluka stood & watched him move into space, just let him score without a fucking challenge. He'd not even played 45 mins & he still couldn't be arsed!!

The twats have got the club formerly known as Arsenal next; another bunch of fucking half arsed bottlers. I recon that will be 5 or 6.

This is what we're up against & why we need to win a lot of games & not look for draws. No matter what the rags do, teams are going to hand them points at OT without making them work for it. I don't think rags made a tackle tonight, just waited to be given the ball & Spurs obliged.

Well I reckon they look a better team than they did most of last season. Spurs allowed them a lot of space but they used it well. Anyone winning the title this season will need to get significantly more points than last I reckon.
Caveat abut them being better than last season that is going forwards , we have not seen how they defend yet and the 'keeper is still having dodgy moments.

A real bendover by spuds, looking at the scum starting 11 last night, they were there for the taking with a couple of players out & quite an inexperienced team all in all.

Well I for one hope very much that your right, I still dont think we have enough metal to win the top spot. If we can learn to play right through to the final whistle with the belief we can beat anyone on any day then yes just maybe we can.

I thought Spurs would finish 3rd this year. They won't. They were pathetic and their best player is leaving.
