Raggers, I wish you were Dev. You'd be much easier to understand.

That's the thing though. Dev, at his best, was a wind up artist. This guy just tryis to wind people up without putting any wit to those posts.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

What happened to Dev? Was he banned? I thought he just pussied out because he realised a better version had come along(me).

For someone who tries to give the impression of being a liberal and open minded guy you seem to spend what time you can spend on me trying to be cheeky. Why is that?

Ashton's problem is his lack of experience. On a personal level I have never suffered from depression and am a very positive person and in total control of my emotions. I used to think depression was a trick of the mind or simply weakness but over the years I have seen what it does. What Ashton fails to realise is that he is judging it solely on the basis of someone with a sound mind like he or I and doesn't comprehend that when that same sound mind reaches a breaking point for whatever reason, rational thinking and reason go out of the window.

Ashton, one day you'll understand, but for now go and play with your toys.

We can't judge anyone by our own standards - everyone has a level at which they can cope, what tips then over the edge - for some it can be the wrong word, for others it's a hell of a lot more

Ashton doesn't have a problem. If you have a problem with Ashton's views then that is your problem, not uncle Ashton's.

They're not depressed, they are upset/angry/anxious.

Depression is a chemical imbalance. What you're thinking of is emotion.

You silly boy.

Every thought we have generates an emotion and every emotion we have generates a peptide. We have tens of thousands of thoughts each day, most of which, in most people tend to be negative. There are tens of thousands of different peptides (and more being discovered all the time) The amount of peptide generated is governed by the strength of the thought.
For example....City going to Wembley = very excited = lots of Adrenaline. City playing Exeter in the Carling Cup = minimal excitement = small amount of Adrenaline. The same applies to Testosterone, Seratonin, Insulin etc.

Peptides are like a chemical memory and remain stored in body cells until the cause of their initial release is dealt with. Strong negative thoughts giving rise to strong negative emotions releasing peptides that can be toxic.

When Doomie states....think something happy, he is quite correct. It is good for your health .
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT
