Gareth taylor, the epitome of lame.

Dzeko at times looks a bit like him ambling aimlessly round the pitch losing posession all the time

I think so too but not everyone will agree with me, I'm sure.

Steady. dependable, but played like a crab. Didn't like him as a footballer at all, boring as shit, not my cup of tea. Seems a sound bloke though

Anyone remember that penalty he took against Leeds in their title winning season? IIRC it was live on TV and he absolutely spooned it over the bar and we ended up losing 3:2. Fucking useless cunt.

I remember that yeah. He takes me to a dark, dark place. Everyone in the ground was thinking 'why the Hell is this twerp taking a penalty', then he injured some woman at the back of the North Stand with it. Tit.

Yeah, Fowler couldn't give a fuck about us. Even after scoring against the Rags in the Derby all he wanted to do was give them his '5' sign. The pen miss against Boro pissed me off especially as it came on the back of his fresh air shot from an open goal

Yeah. Good thread Antti.

I suppose that I can sum up the players that I disliked as anyone who was lazy and didn't pull there weight.

Additions to that list would include Huckerby, and I'm surprised that not more mentioned him. Absolutely hated the way that he was shit scared of getting stuck in, would never jump for a ball and can only ever remember him scoring one with his head and that was an accident. I should think the number of tackles he made whilst at the club remains in single figures. Had a run in with him at a local Gym here in Norwich after he made the switch as I was wearing a City T-shirt. Disliked him intensely.

Michael Brown was another, but not because he didn't give his all. I can remember when he came to the club from Hartlepool and became very, very homesick. Francis Lee bent over backwards to try and ease the situation by sending him home reguarly for holidays. Just felt that he never really fully repaid that faith whilst he was at the club.

Michael Frontzeck. Don't really know why, but I think I probably thought he was victimised for giving away the penalty at the swamp, at least I think it was him. Remember the penalty that no one else appealed for in the ground but the ref gave anyway and they equalised in a game they were never in and went onto win. Think that was the Rosler lob. But mymemory is fuzzy.

Just a couple of points on other players mentioned here. I remember breaking the news that Trabelsi had signed whilst at the team hotel on the tour in China, the level of excitement and positivity was amazing, but it all went a bit flat rather quickly Lol.

Bob Taylor never really reigned supreme either, but I spoke to him a while back when he managed a local team called Dereham Town (not sure if he still does) had quite a good talk with him and he was fully aware of his limitations and think he was quite pleased that he scored a really important goal for us and never really free loaded from us to any great extent. quite admired the bloke actually.

Blimey! I could go on for hours here Lol! Best not

Kippax.
