Great preformance. Saw the second half. Just seen the goal, and that was some superb play.

I tried hard to watch some olympic football but I surrendered when I saw Psyco setting Micah at CB to accomodate a left back at right back, necessarily exploited all game long, with a game plan only made of long ball... bored to death!

besides, I always considered a shame the attitude shown by all major FAs towards the Olympic Games: I know it goes against the interests of the Major Leagues seasons, but it still remain a shame cause Olympiads are the epitome of sport.

2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

It's interesting how Hope Powell is blazing a trail for black coaches, women coaches and gay coaches all at once. She'll be a good outside bet for SPOTY if the ladies win an unexpected medal.

Haha. Did you watch it? I've been amazed at the standard the women's competition, to be honest, and I feel a bit ashamed to even be saying that. I've not watched a lot of women's footy in my time. Maybe this is the tipping point for the women's game in Britain.

Where is SoF with her greater insight?

The transformation in the women's game in the last 10 years has been nothing short of a miracle. Last night was the pinnacle for me and bought a tear to my eye. Amazing to see a GB team playing at Wembley in front of 70,000 people.

You can say what you like about women's football but at least its played in the right spirit by people with a genuine love for the game. They are not there for the money. Some male players could learn a thing or two from the women's game, look at that goal last night, I'm pretty sure that a high percentage of male footballers would have looked at getting a pen in that situation but no the kid stayed on her feet and smashed it in and probably had the greatest feeling of her life.

From a personal point of view there was an element of the green eyed monster, gutted I'm not 10 years younger but I am proud of the tiny part I have played in women's football in this country over the past 20 years. I'm so happy that people are finally seeing that the women can do a bit and have as much dedication as there male counterparts. I think finally some respect has made its way into the women's game and the Olympics has been an amazing advert for our sport.

Sign players because Bob sees promise and talent in them. Would be good to see him in a city shirt though. Especially with hair like

I did watch it and, I was initially astounded at the size of the crowd. Bloody amazing and what a feeling it must have been for those players to play in that atmosphere (which didn't also sound like it was made up of squealy girls and schoolies like it used to when watching women's footie....it sounded like a proper football crowd for an international match).

Technically the standard of play, speed of the game and overall technique is unrecognisable to the game 5-10 years ago.

I must confess that I watch with a bit more of an active interest since I have known wozza and actually seen her and the city ladies play...I was amazed how good some of them were when I first saw them. And these girls are, it's fair to say, a level above the blue girls in the main (not you of course Woz...I think you are a much better keeper than the girl playing for Team GB last night who was the weakest link....she still played like a bit of a bird...and you don't).

Doom; I also asked Wozza that question and she said that she either "knew them" or they were "too young"...I reckon she would and has personally. Lying hoebag.

Its a little known fact but I don't shag football girls and have no interest in them as they are all pretty clone like. They all like the same music, have shit tattoo's and wear them same clothes, I much prefer my girls in uniform as we know who are mentally retarded.......again true story.

i'd take a run at her, simply so i could tell you about it. I bet she has meat chimes bigger than my sack tho....u roll that way? i like it tidy...no wings.
