No thank you.

The same player who screwed us over. You cannot say he would be an angel or sign a new contract so in the interest of holistic proportions, any sane manager who doesnt know him but knows of him and the contract situation would let go. It makes sense. I hated the tevez saga and never want to see anything like that again but ffs see sense.

Burgerstain and sorryarse are a pair of fucking twatinis agents sent in to send us back to the age of sparky.

Best striker going for peanuts (scumbag that he is), no sign of a quality replacement. A past it winger and a fucking 28 year old "defensive" Brazilian. New manager with 1 season at a quality team and fuck all worth reading on his CV. Our main target publicly licking another teams ball sack and Cavani looking set for our domestic rivals who also happen to have the best manager in football.

Snakes they are. Sent to shaft us. Bring back the cookiemonster. A 130 million pound bid for messi is what we need to distract everyone attention while we sign ronaldo.

I will definitely miss him. During tevezgate I was angry as fuck and hated him with a passion and never wanted him to return. He came back and put in some amazing displays.

I want players who want to win and Carlos is exactly that. Shame he didn't decide he wanted to stay and give Pellegrini a chanve.

You think tevez is past it? REALLY?

That's right. In my personal opinion the 'it' that he's passed was his best.
I loved the bloke - at his best he was a player who could carry a team single handed - he had a work rate like a duracell bunny but he wasn't as clinical last season as the season before . . no lack of effort but it was somehow less focussed and more bustle less direction - more running around and less goals. I'd have been glad to see him stay if I thought he wanted to sign up for another couple of years but he's done his stint in England and wanted a warmer more latin county.
IMO still a great player but most certainly past his best and the price we got was a reflection of that fact combined with his short remaining contract and his high wage expectation.

Out of interest; the word from the BBC is that we've saved 27 million by letting him go for 10 million + 2 million = 12 million. So 15 million of the 27 was wages and bonus which means that his 5 million a year deal will earn him 15 million over 3 years when he lost 15 million by going with 1 year left on his contract - he's doing 3 years for 15m rather than 1 year for 15m? Either he was very keen to go or there's something that doesn't add up there isn't there? Can someone explain?
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Just watching city v Chelsea this season at home Tevez came on and scored a blinder of a second goal for us.

I will miss him. I think City will too. He is a strange bloke in some respects but no hard feelings. Helped us win the cup and the league. Good luck but not against us please.

Is it too early to call him Herman Munster? It'd be nice if we just see how the whole transfer window works out before we start slagging off the board. If we bring in a suitable replacement who doesn't slow up our play/get in Silva's way, I'll be happy.

Fuck it anyway, I'm gutted! If those figures are correct he is taking a payout? That can hardly be true.

Shafted by Italians again, would rather see him run his contract down, he is worth more on the pitch to us than that paltry sum.

the best striker I have seen at city...
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that he will be missed, his work rate was fantastic. Its going to be very hard to replace him full stop never mind trying to do it without spending god knows how much. They are saying its a deal worth 10m, bloody hell we will have to spend close to 50m to get the same level of ability. Its true hes not getting any younger and in 1 more season he walks for free, over all it does make financial sence but as a fan its harder to take.

Ok, time to talk about the elephant in the room. Let"s say is not Suarez, although, i think he really is our target.

Shrek? Is he the one we are really after?

I'm definitely going to be in the minority here but im not that sad to see him go. Very good player and worked hard but ultimately he was a striker and last season he almost never looked dangerous around the box. And that's what we need. No point having a guy running his bollocks off in the centre circle if silva, navas et al are trying to create chances for goal scorers.

That, plus Munich-gate, plus he is refusing to sign a contract means, in my opinion, it's a thank you and goodbye.

As long as we get someone in. Which I believe we will.
