So I am kind of expecting some small surprises in line up, like Yaya having a free role and then Ferdi behind him and Rodders backing him up.
I can't see anything that wouldn't be a gamble, however with Yaya free, whatever Moyes tried to set up the rag players on the pitch would be so worried about Yaya getting the ball in space it would distort any plan they had.

Yaya has destroyed them twice, we need to use that trauma to our advantage.

You've used yaya's name 13 times in your last three posts (yes I am bored).

I guess you wouldn't mind him featuring prominently on sunday then?

Yaya is due payback to Fellaini after last season when he was owned by him, needs to make him realise who's daddy and boss their weak midfield.

As long as we keep tight at the back, and with Viinnie i am much more confident we will be, then we have the edge I believe. We did the job against Plzen and now it's time to put Gollum and the scum in their place this weekend.

It was mentioned before, there's plenty of defences that will be terrified of our attack and i recon the scum are one, i do expect them to pretty much sit back - wouldn't be surprised to see 10 behind the ball with RVP the only one staying up field and try to catch us on the break and try to get as many set pieces as possible to use Fellaini.

I'm neither confident or worried about this one, still need progress with ourselves to work as an effective unit but they've been very much the same.

After all the hype we could end up seeing a 0-0 with both teams growling at each other from each half ;-)

I think that's pretty much how I feel. In fact, I reckon it's how most of us feel.

13 you say and I'm still not sure what he does. Should I leave it at 13 or write it again... hmm I like 13 I'll stick with it.

I notice in the MEN fans verdict thing that the two City fans basically say the same thing I have been banging on, I mean we all seem to know it and like everyone else I want Pell to DO something about it or we are likely going to be in trouble,

I will shut up about it now though as I cant write his name anyway... or I will ruin the lucky 13 i'm up to.

I just read "Sat 22" in the fixture list and figured Saturday. Didn't realise that the 22nd is actually on Sunday, not Saturday.

Bloody hell, though, I had planned my whole weekend around the derby being tomorrow!

I read the same and up until two days ago I thought it was saturday. Having the pre match day shits tomorrow instead.

The good part is that I have a football game of my one at eleven (ten your time), and will stay for a few beers with the lads afterwards, so I'll be too preoccupied to be nervous until just before kick-off.

(and altough no one cares, but we have two victories out of two games, and I scored a peach the last game ;-))

Always dread the game and will hate virtually every minute of it. Didn't even enjoy the 1-6 at the time.

I'm also sick of seeing Shrek celebrate in front of me.

That said, I have a sneaking feeling of a new City hero emerging on Sunday. And I'd put my money on it being Negredo.

Hart
Zaba Kompany Nastasic Kolarov
Fernandinho Yaya
Navas Aguero Silva
Negredo

is this what we're thinking? its only the front 4 that seem up for debate.
id actually like to see Navas-Silva-Milner behind Negredo though. Kolarov will need help.
thoughts?

UEFA had him down as Italian as well - I thought it was an error since he was born in Chile, but he has Italian parents so maybe he has dual nationality.

Silva is definitely out, pellers said so in press conference. I would imagine Nasri will start.

This game can make this season .If we win whole season or start of the season can change in to a great one.For me it don't matter who will start up front us long Pelle underline to Aguero importance of this win and just pass the ball.I really think we are better then them and if we win this game we will gain some momentum .Bit afraid of Kolarov defending but hope that Kompany will close Van pussy.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Oh you too buying Sky's mis-hearing of Pellegrini's words ... listen to his conference yourself on OS and he says Silva is fit ... and so is Richards ... they have both been training as normal all this week ... only Clichy is behind who started training full from yesterday only.

I say play Richards on RB and move Zaba to LB, better back four than with Kola in it. And leave Silva out on bench, Nasri is in form and hopefully will perform again through the centre while Silva is totally off form, but can come in off the bench if all's failing in there ...

I would stick with Nasri if a choice has to be made.He is at his best through the middle. If played out wide it's a waste of time.Would be nice to have Silva ready to come off the bench if he is fit enough. The thoughts of Kolarov playing doesn't sit well with me.I just would not trust him against Valencia who seems to be back playing reasonably well again or thriller for that matter.I'd feel a lot better if Clichy was available.

You don't think it matters who starts up front as long as the boss tells Aguero how important the game is. . . . surely you think it matters that Aguero starts so that he uses that knowledge eh?

if we stick Kun in the area Camel gob occupies he will do two things, terrify him and force De Gea to go long, stopping the scum building from the back is key, Liverpool did it with Sturridge, Midfield get on top, Van Prick starts to become the cunt we know he is. Early goal we batter them, and Moyes has to start again.
